Welcome everyone, coming to you directly from the luxurious OLR Studios, this is Templeton. Where is Las Vegas?
SPEAKER_02:This is Sweet Baby Jay. Can I see what you just said written on paper?
SPEAKER_00:This is Melina. It is the biggest spider I've ever seen in my life.
SPEAKER_01:This is Grizz.
SPEAKER_00:After this, I'm going to get off here and I'm going to dragon them balls.
SPEAKER_01:This is the Arrogant Yeti. At least I know 2 plus 2 is 5. And this is the FMJ Podcast.
SPEAKER_00:You look like something.
SPEAKER_02:Like a zipper?
SPEAKER_00:Okie
SPEAKER_02:dokie. Okay, if we're all ready, welcome back to another beautiful episode of the FMJ Podcast, where we make all of your wildest fantasies come true. I'm just kidding, we don't do that. Unless you gently stroke Melina's right side of her face. Yes. With a feather.
SPEAKER_00:Ooh, yes, a white one.
SPEAKER_02:I don't know. I don't know. I'm just coming up with it as I go. Anyway, yeah, we are back. We'll go around the room real quick. We'll check everybody's pulse. And Melina, you weren't here with us last time. So. Yes, sir. Tell us what your pulse looks like.
SPEAKER_00:It's probably about 60. I'm pretty chill right now.
SPEAKER_02:Pretty chill.
SPEAKER_00:Pretty chill. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02:Anything
SPEAKER_00:new with you? Not doing anything. No? No, no. Nothing at all? No.
SPEAKER_02:Nothing? No new games?
SPEAKER_00:I had three cavities filled this week. At the dentist.
SPEAKER_01:Ooh,
SPEAKER_00:cavity
SPEAKER_02:conspiracy!
SPEAKER_01:Time out, time out.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01:Do any of them still hurt?
SPEAKER_00:No.
SPEAKER_01:So you have no pain whatsoever? I
SPEAKER_00:don't because did you know that they'll put medicated shit in there before they put the filling in? If it's really bad?
SPEAKER_02:Did they do that for you, Yeti?
SPEAKER_00:Yes. Yes. They said, we're going to put some medicine in there. I said, you're going to do what?
SPEAKER_02:You're going to do what
SPEAKER_00:now? And they're like, oh, we're going to put some medicine down in there. And then that way you won't hurt so bad. Because we did nick your gum a little bit. I'm like, oh, okay. Nope. Nope. I came home and I couldn't feel shit. And I took two ibuprofens and I'm fine. Hmm. Huh. Yeah. You
SPEAKER_01:know what's crazy? I got that one done. Remember the one that's back here on the bottom? I still have a little slight pain. Oh
SPEAKER_00:my god, are you
SPEAKER_01:serious? I chew on my left side of my mouth because it bothers me on the right side of my
SPEAKER_00:mouth. That's not right. I know it's not
SPEAKER_01:right.
SPEAKER_00:But
SPEAKER_01:here's the thing. I'm over it.
SPEAKER_00:I feel you. I feel you. And
SPEAKER_01:also, I changed dentist, by the way, too.
SPEAKER_00:Okay, good. Thank God.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah. Root canal was done by the new dentist that I will be going to going forward.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. See, that's where I'm at because I had the abscessed tooth and I went to... I can't go back to my dentist because he uses outdated shit and...
SPEAKER_01:He
SPEAKER_00:breaks my jaw every damn time I go there. I can't stand it. My mouth's really not that big, I swear. So I went to this new one, and it's the same thing. He was great. His staff's great. The guy that comes in and does extractions, I was in and out. I was there and back home within 30 minutes.
SPEAKER_01:That's pretty dope.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, it was great. I've got one more. filling that has to be done, not for a cavity, but for an old filling that came out. So, that's next Wednesday. And then, I'm fucking taking a break for a minute. I'm exhausted. I'm fucking tired, boss! I'm so tired! Oh, God.
SPEAKER_02:So
SPEAKER_00:fucking tired. So, like, the tooth that had to get pulled, and then two of my fillings that I had done, were already fixed by the dentist that I left within the last two years.
SPEAKER_01:Oh,
SPEAKER_00:wow.
SPEAKER_01:Oh, wow.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, so, yeah, I'm glad that you found a good dentist, too.
SPEAKER_01:Well, I hope it's a good dentist. I mean, we'll find out. Yeah, the
SPEAKER_02:jury's still out on that one.
SPEAKER_01:Right, right. Because technically speaking, I haven't gone there for, like, basic maintenance yet.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah. Okay,
SPEAKER_01:yeah. Oh,
SPEAKER_02:boy.
SPEAKER_01:And I don't know what I'm going to bring this tooth up. I have no idea.
SPEAKER_00:You really should. Just get it done and over with.
SPEAKER_01:Well, I thought I got it done and over with, but apparently I was wrong. Until you didn't.
SPEAKER_00:But did the old dentist do that one?
UNKNOWN:Yeah.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, I would go back to the new one and be like, yo. Yo. This hurts. Fix my fucking face.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah. Never mind. When I floss back there, the moment I put the floss between the two teeth, it's like biting on cold. It's like, oh my god. Uh-uh. Yes, yes, yes. And it's like,
SPEAKER_02:oh! Yeah. So apparently you two have a, well, she doesn't have too much of a cavity conspiracy. They were the four out of the five dentists that recommended stuff to put in her teeth. You had the one dentist that was like, That's not the best idea,
SPEAKER_01:right? Apparently, when I walked down the alley to get to the front door, I should have known then. Exactly. What? No, no, no. It's a joke. It's a joke. It's a joke.
SPEAKER_02:What? He went to the back alley to a guy in a white van and he was like, hey, I'm a dentist. What? What?
SPEAKER_01:His name was Mobile Denty.
SPEAKER_02:That's right. Mobile T.
SPEAKER_01:Anyway.
SPEAKER_02:Awesome.
SPEAKER_01:Wait a minute. Time out. Are there mobile dentists?
SPEAKER_02:Okay, anyway. Yeti, what's your pulse look like? We've got to look this up. You tell us what your pulse is. I'm going to look it up. You tell us what your pulse looks like.
SPEAKER_01:Um... Let's go with 3.14. Huh.
SPEAKER_02:So, is somebody in the mood for some pie today? I
SPEAKER_01:went 1, 2, 3. Oh,
SPEAKER_02:is that what you did? You just counted to 3 and said, that's my pulse. Oh, no. Sorry, sir. That is pie. But good try. Good try. I'm still rooting for you. Keep swinging that bat, buddy. Thank you. But how are you doing today? How's everything going?
SPEAKER_01:So it's going good. You know, I mean, it's going good. I have no complaints as of right now. We're getting ready for the yard sale tomorrow. Hell yeah. Ooh, here's a little funny story for you guys. The wifey and I wanted to start a new show, and a show that we have not watched but we've heard good things about was Sons of Anarchy.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. Oh,
SPEAKER_01:yeah. I don't know if you guys have seen any of that.
SPEAKER_00:I've not watched it. Yeah, I have.
SPEAKER_01:I have. And would you say it's fairly good?
SPEAKER_00:Yep.
SPEAKER_01:Okay. So I go to start it. So a little sidebar on this. I have multiple streaming services, and it's on Hulu, but the Hulu that I have has commercials. It can also be found on Disney+. That has no commercials. So we went with Disney+, to watch it. Obviously.
SPEAKER_02:That makes sense. Yeah, that makes sense.
SPEAKER_01:Right. Isn't that kind of goofy, though? And here's the kicker. When you go onto it on Disney+, it even says, like, brought to you by Hulu. Yeah, it's
SPEAKER_02:brought to you
SPEAKER_01:by Hulu. Yeah.
UNKNOWN:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:And it's like, wait, what? Because it's because
SPEAKER_02:of what you're paying for on Disney. You're not paying for the ads on Disney, but which is weird. So you would just have Hulu like you have what, like free Hulu? What like what do you have as far as Hulu? And why do you have ads?
SPEAKER_01:I do not know. I piggyback off somebody, so I don't know. I
SPEAKER_02:gotcha. OK, that's fair because I went ahead and got the bundle with Disney Plus and Hulu and you don't get ads on that. with
SPEAKER_01:the bundle. Well, that makes sense. That makes total
SPEAKER_00:sense. I have the Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN bundle. Oh, I got a question.
SPEAKER_01:And I'm getting sidetracked. How much do you guys pay in streaming services? Just out of
SPEAKER_02:curiosity.
SPEAKER_00:Do you really want to know that? I may as well have cable and shut all that shit down. She has
SPEAKER_02:them all. Literally, she has them all. I
SPEAKER_00:have every single one of them.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, that's crazy. If I had to guess, you're spending anywhere upwards to$150 a month. just on all streaming services, which is crazy. And it sucks because you can't pull the plug on streaming now because on cable you won't get what you actually want to watch. I
SPEAKER_00:know. I had YouTube TV because it was cheaper to do YouTube TV so I could get Sunday Ticket and all that stuff for NFL. And I could basically see every single game with no problem having that. So I had that. And then I was like, oh, I really like having the TV portion of YouTube because I like to watch two fucking channels that I have on streaming services that I could watch. Yeah, so I canceled that shit. And that is like, that's expensive. That's$80 a month just for the TV.
SPEAKER_01:Yep. I'll
SPEAKER_00:be going through it again come September, so it doesn't matter.
SPEAKER_01:Right. So for me to get back on track, so the wife and I started Sons of Anarchy, and I go to Disney+, I go to Stein, and when I'm looking at it, like if you pull up the menu, it has like on the left side of the screen, it shows season one through like 10. And I was curious how many episodes were in each season. So I just scrolled down on the season list, and I was like okay each one has about 13 episodes whatever whatever and I thought I scrolled to the very very top and the first episode that was listed was labeled out and I'm like oh out it's gotta be the first one and I just assumed I was on the first one and it's when someone gets out of prison And I was like, oh, that would make sense for a starting story. Like, he gets out of prison, and all chaos begins. No, it was season four, episode one. So we watched a full hour. We watched a full hour. At the end of it, I was scratching my head. She looked at me like a deer in the headlights and was like, are you lost? And I was like, yeah. I don't know who's who. Like, there's no backstory. And she's like, something's wrong i was like i don't know people said it was good and then i like as i looked i was like oh this makes it was user error yes we just watched seasons fours
SPEAKER_02:so so what would it sound what i'm hearing is you pull the pulp fiction on yourself
SPEAKER_01:yeah i did and what's crazy is like what we watched There was a particular group that was going after the Sons of Anarchy, and Sons of Anarchy murdered them all.
SPEAKER_02:Ah, gotcha. So when these group of
SPEAKER_01:people get introduced, we're like, yo, you die,
SPEAKER_02:you die, you die. We know what happens. We know what
SPEAKER_00:happens. We know your fate, dickhead. Sons of Anarchy is 10 out of 10. Recommend to watch it from start to finish.
SPEAKER_01:Oh, we've started two days ago. Keep in mind, that one we fucked up, it was really late, so I really don't count that day. So we really started like two days ago, and we're already almost done with season one. It's pretty good.
SPEAKER_00:It's so good. It's so good. It's like it will get you emotionally invested in some of these characters, and it's like you go on an emotional kind of rollercoaster with these people. I enjoyed I really enjoyed it I've actually watched Sons of Anarchy I think twice oh wow
SPEAKER_01:okay I want to say so like the first season has 13 episodes and I think we're sitting around 8 or 9 right now so
SPEAKER_00:nice yeah it's almost done
SPEAKER_01:right
SPEAKER_00:that's exciting so what's your pulse looking like there Jay
SPEAKER_02:you talking to me
SPEAKER_00:Oh, yeah. Are you talking to me? You never tell us what you're doing.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, because I never let anyone else move. That's how that works. But I'm doing swell. Still trying to shake this cough, whatever the fuck it is. Speaking of. But no, I've been playing a lot of RoboCop because I finally finished up Death Stranding, which, by the way... fabulous game if you guys ever decide to play a decent game like that if you have the time go for it took me about a hundred and almost 180 hours to complete that game which which is a lot for you
SPEAKER_01:it is yeah that's a lot that's a lot in general to be honest it is
SPEAKER_02:and i'm not totally done because i got like you know uh things to wrap up um before like the the final end credits roll. So I can kind of take my time with that. But I am ready for the next one, which comes out in June. I'm excited for that. But RoboCop has been my go-to right now. And it's been a lot of fun. It is very nostalgic. And once you start getting the upgrades and everything, that's when you really start feeling like RoboCop. Powering up with the breaker boxes and all that kind of shit. it's it's it's turning out to be a lot of fun
SPEAKER_01:but what i enjoy is like when you when you when you're walking around all you hear is the
SPEAKER_02:oh yeah
SPEAKER_01:the footsteps i can't even yes
SPEAKER_02:yes yes it's fucking like
SPEAKER_01:it's fucking cool it's so iconic
SPEAKER_02:yes yes
SPEAKER_01:because when you're watching the movie and they're in the police station And everyone's head starts turning. And then if you listen, all you hear is the feet. And it's like, ooh, that's a big motherfucker walking. Yep. That's a heavy motherfucker. Heavy motherfucker. It is fucking amazing. And his
SPEAKER_02:RoboCop. Dead or alive, you're coming with me. And it's like... And then his gun. His gun is just like... Dude, dude, so, so... Uh, you get upgrades for his auto nine in the game. Yeah. And it's fucking peak because you get like motherboards, right. That you can add, you get like, um, like little chips that you can add certain percentage to like weapon damage, like, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, Magazine capacity all that kind of stuff and I just got one because you do remember the giant the giant robot the ed 149 or whatever it is The one that's like you got you have 30 seconds to comply So you do wind up fighting at least one and as far as I know. I don't know how far I am into this game. But you at least fight one, and when I took it out, you got that motherboard. And let me tell you, when I upgraded it, you get the... the... Oh my goodness. You get the option to turn the Auto-9 into full auto, and that thing fucking sprays. It's just like... And here's the crazy part. With the Auto-9, because you can pick up other weapons, like the bugs and stuff drop, but they're like limited ammunition. Your Auto-9, infinite ammo. Right. So, like... At certain parts, because there are also options when you upgrade those motherboards, those chips... I have it to where I don't have to reload. It auto-feeds the bullets. So I just like...
SPEAKER_01:Non-stop! That is fucking amazing. That is fucking amazing.
SPEAKER_02:Now this is RoboCop as it was intended. Right,
SPEAKER_01:right. But
SPEAKER_02:no, it's been a lot of fun. Like you said, with the iconic sounds and the music. Whenever it comes on, I'm like... it
SPEAKER_01:gets me so
SPEAKER_02:hyped and i'm like you know yes robocop was a fucking fantastic franchise they dropped the ball on three but it was it was a fun franchise it really was and
SPEAKER_01:it was it was
SPEAKER_02:i wouldn't be upset if we did get because i don't know how i felt about the reboot i was kind of on the on the new robocop i didn't I didn't hate it, and
SPEAKER_01:I didn't love
SPEAKER_02:it. Right. It was just a fun watch. Yes. It wasn't like what they did with Dread. The new Dread, fucking top tier, dude. I love that Dread. Right, right, right. It's fucking awesome.
SPEAKER_01:Now, if I'm not mistaken, I think they're doing another reboot of RoboCop. Are they? I think.
SPEAKER_02:That's interesting if they do, because I wouldn't be opposed to it, but they'd have to do it right. They would have to. They'd have to rethink some things, unlike they did with the other reboot. But anyway, I don't want to get too crazy here, because I know we still do have a whole show to get into.
SPEAKER_01:But real quick, so yes, a new Robocop movie is being made. It's called Robocop Returns, and it's in development, as well as a TV series in the works by Amazon Studios.
SPEAKER_02:Oh, bring it on, Amazon. Bring it on. They've been doing pretty good, so yeah, I'm here for them. I know Melina watched Fallout recently, so...
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:Interesting. So the film, Robocop Returns, is envisioned as a sequel to the original 1987 movie and will reportedly ignore sequels and the 2014 remake. Really?
SPEAKER_02:Like, Robocop 2 wasn't bad, though.
SPEAKER_01:No, it wasn't. I actually... I... Some could argue that 2 was better than 1.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, I mean, for that franchise, yeah. I loved the fuck out of RoboCop 2. And they're just going to ignore it? That's wild. Anyway, now I'm upset. And we're all talking about RoboCop. Does anybody want any entertainment news? Yeah, sure. Since we're talking about RoboCop, did y'all hear that doctors have created the world's first bionic eye that could restore vision? Really? Oh, my God. So after 20 years of dedicated research, scientists from the Boston Retinal Implant Project have developed a bionic eye implant designed to restore vision. Partial vision for individuals with severe retinal diseases like age-related macular degeneration and retinitis pigmentosis. Co-led by Dr. Joseph Rizzo III of the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and MIT professor John Wyatt, the implant is about the size of a pencil eraser and connects to the brain via a hair-thin wire. Really? So there you go.
SPEAKER_00:That's really amazing to hear because my papa had age-related macular degeneration.
SPEAKER_02:Really?
SPEAKER_00:And that's why, in essence, that's really why he had to go into assisted living. It's because it was so bad he couldn't see. We were taking him to a retina specialist and he was getting injections in his eye. Oh, wow. Because macular degeneration is basically... bleeding in the eye. And if it's active bleeding, when they give the shot, it stops the bleeding, which stops the damage. The bleeding causes the damage.
SPEAKER_02:And
SPEAKER_00:it's like a black spot that was in the center of each eye, like the vision of each eye. It was very heartbreaking to see because he couldn't see things. He'd have to try to look in his peripheral to read anything or see anything. It was really bad. That's tough. It is tough. Yeah. So it's really cool. I mean, obviously my papaw was in his 90s when he passed and when he had to go into assisted living. So that's pretty damn good. Yeah. No, that is long life. It's really cool that they're making advancements like that.
SPEAKER_02:Hell yeah. I did hear that people that are under 50 right now have the possibility of living to be beyond 100 years old. I don't know that I want that. Like they said to like 130, 140, something like that.
SPEAKER_01:No, I'm sorry. The way I feel.
SPEAKER_02:He's like, no. No. I
SPEAKER_01:got maybe 60. Okay,
SPEAKER_02:that's fair. I mean, maybe. I hope it's longer than 60. Jesus Christ. I would hope so. You better get it together. Damn, you only gave yourself 20 years? Fucking shit. But no, apparently it won't restore full sight, but The device will allow users to detect shapes, movement, and obstacles, significantly improving mobility and independence. The implant is mostly external, has passed rigorous durability tests, and is on track for FDA-approved human trials in the near future. So,
SPEAKER_00:there you go. Very
SPEAKER_02:exciting. There you go.
SPEAKER_00:I'm very happy to hear that.
SPEAKER_02:Right? What a time to be alive. It really is. I do know that they do have ways of... They've tried different ways of restoring vision where they added something to the back of somebody's head and it would almost be like... It would still be black, but it would almost be like... You could see the silhouette of things because of where they attached it to your brain. I know that they've got ways of... bringing back like partial hearing and all that kind of shit. So the stuff they're doing is like, it's pretty interesting. It honestly is, you know, and then, and the future is upon us. And, uh, you know, eventually there might be, you may never have to worry about ever losing your sight or hearing ever again. Cause yeah, they're, they're, they're on their way. Hmm. Oh, that's very exciting. That is, that is very interesting. It's pretty dope. So get ready for the future y'all. because it's coming whether you like it or not. All right. So, yeah, there you go. There's your entertainment news. Yeti. Okay. Yeti.
SPEAKER_01:What's good?
SPEAKER_02:You want to pull up your Reddit app and do a little Reddit roulette. Do a little Reddit roulette. A little Reddit? A little Reddit roulette.
SPEAKER_01:Okay. Spin it. One through... 4.1. What? 3.2. The
SPEAKER_02:fuck? Okay. Why don't you
SPEAKER_01:go 3.8? 1... 2... 3...
SPEAKER_02:Point.
SPEAKER_01:Point 2.
SPEAKER_02:Point 2.
SPEAKER_01:Okay. Am I the asshole for not inviting all of the... Oh, fuck. Here we go. It's going to be one of these. Am I the asshole for not inviting all of the friend I the friend group?
SPEAKER_02:Okay, so all the friends in the friend group. Okay, we're going to have to get our decoder ring out.
SPEAKER_01:Are we seeing this one?
SPEAKER_02:Okay. Lord.
SPEAKER_01:Okay. Then... Two friends from the same group, Marietta and Rodolfo, fake names, decided to take another trip. Just the two of them.
SPEAKER_02:No.
SPEAKER_01:When Catalina found out about this,
SPEAKER_02:she
SPEAKER_01:wanted to go. She asked if she could join them, and they said yes. After that, Rodolfo invited Isabelle
SPEAKER_00:who accepted I was just thinking
SPEAKER_01:that invited me the rest of the group eventually found out and got mad at us because we didn't tell them or invite them are we the asshole
SPEAKER_02:so
SPEAKER_00:everybody's the asshole right now I don't know what the fuck you just said.
SPEAKER_01:Neither do I. Neither do I.
SPEAKER_02:So the gist of it, from what I'm hearing, what you read, they get mad when things don't go their way or something like that?
SPEAKER_01:Okay, so what I think happened is there was 12 people that were set up to do a trip. Okay. A couple of them... made additional plans outside of that trip. And then when a couple of them made the other trip, they asked other people from the original trip to join. So they were
SPEAKER_02:coaching. That's
SPEAKER_01:what it sounds like. Group A,
SPEAKER_02:Group B. And Group B was coaching from Group A.
SPEAKER_01:A, yes. And then the remainders in Group A
SPEAKER_02:were mad. You fucking assholes. What the fuck? What about our original trip? Right, okay, okay, okay. And they already had things kind of plotted out and planned out, I guess Group A did. And Group B was like, hey, here's... Okay, so are they the asshole for not inviting Group B? Is that what we're trying to figure out?
SPEAKER_01:That's what I think.
SPEAKER_02:Is Group A the asshole for not inviting Group B because Group B poached their friends? or part of the party, group A, to go to their thing.
SPEAKER_01:For the record, nobody has commented on this thing.
SPEAKER_02:Well, that's because the name Catalina... Nobody knows what the fuck is happening. That's because the names Catalina and Rodolfo are fake as fuck.
SPEAKER_01:You know who I blame in this discussion? Melina. If you
SPEAKER_02:would have said.8, we would have been fine!
SPEAKER_01:If you would have said.8, it would have been like... That.
SPEAKER_02:Oh
SPEAKER_01:wait, hold on. It would have been like that.
SPEAKER_02:See?
SPEAKER_01:Mind the asshole if I brought my cat home against my wife's wishes. Now that would have been
SPEAKER_00:a good one. Okay, read that one.
SPEAKER_01:Whoa, this is a fucking story!
SPEAKER_00:Yes!
SPEAKER_01:I'm not reading that. No, there's too much.
SPEAKER_02:Okay, so back to Catalina and Rodolfo.
SPEAKER_00:Okay, so... Oh, no. That's ridiculous. We don't need that much context.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, that's a lot. That's a whole
SPEAKER_01:ass... Oh, my God! Holy shit!
SPEAKER_02:So, back to Catalina and Rodolfo. Are they the assholes? Yes. I
SPEAKER_01:don't know who's who, though! I...
SPEAKER_00:I'm going to say it all zeroes each other out. They're
SPEAKER_02:all assholes.
SPEAKER_01:It canceled on us. I don't know. I don't know. So they canceled after everything was planned and they formed a new group. That new group then poached people from the original group because it was canceled.
SPEAKER_02:So So did group A, is group A inviting, wanting to do another like trip thing?
SPEAKER_01:No, I think it got, from my understanding, it sounds like the original plan got canceled.
SPEAKER_02:Okay. So there, because the question is, are they the asshole for not inviting their friends? Yes. So who didn't invite who?
SPEAKER_01:Well, and I think I was just trying to explain. The two friends from the same group Marietta and Rodolfo decided to take another trip. Just the two of them. When a third person found out, Catalina, found out about this and really wanted to go, she asked if she could join them and they said yes. After that, Rodolfo then invited Isabel, who accepted, and then Marietta invited her, or them, or me, whatever. One, two, three... four, five. So five people from the original group then start, then plan a new trip, but didn't invite the other seven from group A.
SPEAKER_02:Gotcha. Gotcha. I'm exhausted. Yeah, me too. I'm fucking tired just from this goddamn Reddit story. So who was the original plan creator? Who was the one that was like, okay, this is
SPEAKER_01:it. I believe the person who was invited as the fifth member was to go with group B.
SPEAKER_02:Okay.
SPEAKER_01:Because she said Marietta then invited me.
SPEAKER_02:Okay. So she got poached from group A to group B and she's asking if she's the asshole for not inviting the rest of group A. Is that correct?
SPEAKER_01:Well, she asked, are we the asshole?
SPEAKER_02:I mean, yes. As a group. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:As a group. So, like, to answer the question, yeah, you're an asshole. You're an asshole. Like, you're an asshole. How are you going to
SPEAKER_02:plan with somebody, then bail on them, and then go plan with somebody else? Like, what the fuck is that? Right. You don't do that, especially if you, like... Right. You know what I mean? Like, that would be,
SPEAKER_01:like... It's like this. So, it's like us three right now. If us three right now were to plan a trip, everything's paid for, everything's ready to go, and you got... And then, let's say, Melina decides to make plans, and she's like, yo... Last minute, I can't go.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:All right, well, then it's just going to be me
SPEAKER_02:and
SPEAKER_01:Jay. Okay, sounds great. Awesome. And then Melina, as soon as we walk away, she's like, Jay.
SPEAKER_02:You want
SPEAKER_01:to go? You want to go?
SPEAKER_02:I'm like, yeah, hell yeah. Let's fucking go. Let's do it. And then I don't invite you? And then I don't invite you? And then you wind up showing up at the airport by yourself.
SPEAKER_01:Then I find out you guys went on some trip. And I'm like, wait, wait, wait, what?
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, fuck all of you.
SPEAKER_01:100%. You're an asshole. If you got a trip and people are bouncing to do their own thing, and you guys slowly start gaining the numbers, you're the asshole.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, fuck you. 100%. 100%.
SPEAKER_01:Big facts. Big facts. I'd be hot. I'd be fucking hot.
SPEAKER_02:It
SPEAKER_01:is. That's a complete dick move.
SPEAKER_02:That
SPEAKER_01:is
SPEAKER_02:a
SPEAKER_01:dick move. Let's put it in another perspective, Jay. It's like when we threw Pat's bachelor party. Oh, yeah. Let's say all those people I invited, they all started drunken like flies. And then I come to find out that they planned a different bachelor party. In
SPEAKER_02:Baton Rouge?
UNKNOWN:Right!
SPEAKER_01:Like, what the fuck?
SPEAKER_02:Oh, yeah. That would be fucked up. Listen, I would show up just to, like, piss in everybody's beer or something. Is this what the fuck you're gonna do? Is this what you think of us, you fucking dickholes? Yeah, that's fucked. That's fucked.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, it would be... Yeah. Yeah, definitely. I'm glad we were
SPEAKER_01:able to decipher that in piece of... piece of puzzle together. Okay,
SPEAKER_00:it only took 25 minutes to do that. It did. It
SPEAKER_01:did
SPEAKER_00:take a
SPEAKER_01:minute. It did.
SPEAKER_00:Hey, don't be rude. Don't be
SPEAKER_01:rude.
SPEAKER_00:Next time I'm not going to write nothing. Oh
SPEAKER_02:my god. Oh my god. Okay. Well, that was pretty easy after we figured out what the fuck they were talking about. Anyway, those of you listening, please don't Be them and be an asshole. If you got plans with certain people and you've already figured everything out, don't bail and go do something else.
SPEAKER_01:I'm sorry. As someone who plans shit, I've learned throughout the years what to do and what not to do. I'm going to tell you right now, you get that money up front. You get that money, especially if it's going to be costly, get that money up front. Then if they bounce... You don't get your money back. No
SPEAKER_02:refunds.
SPEAKER_01:Sorry.
SPEAKER_02:No refunds.
SPEAKER_01:No refunds. No. Absolutely the fuck not. No refunds.
SPEAKER_02:Yep. I do get that things do happen, like emergencies come up and all other kinds of shit, but to just completely bail and just join somebody else's escapade after we already had everything situated? Yeah, you can kiss my ass, dude.
SPEAKER_01:Right. I don't know if I would talk to them again. Nope. Cause I would feel like, I would feel like they were doing that shit on purpose. Like they didn't want me to be part of anything.
SPEAKER_00:Yep. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:So yeah, you're the asshole because you make people feel very self-conscious. You fucks.
SPEAKER_00:But you know, say something, you know, use your adult words.
SPEAKER_01:Well, to be fair, we don't even know if they're adults. I could be cussing at kids that are like 13 or 14 right now.
SPEAKER_02:Regardless. Well, that's
SPEAKER_00:a
SPEAKER_02:them
SPEAKER_00:problem.
SPEAKER_02:Regardless, life lesson. Use your words. Be an adult.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. Use your words. Be an adult. Be mature. Be mature about it.
SPEAKER_02:Like, what the fuck?
SPEAKER_00:This is, you know, it's a learning.
SPEAKER_02:It's a learning experience. Anyway. Fucking wow. What a trip that was.
SPEAKER_01:I'm just glad the ride came to an end.
UNKNOWN:Shit.
SPEAKER_00:I
SPEAKER_02:just want you guys to know. What's up, Melina?
SPEAKER_00:These storms are just about here, so if I lose power, I apologize.
SPEAKER_02:No! We got storms! Anyway. We do have storms. I'm so stressed out right now. I think I need to... SPEAKER_00:I think that we're going to be talking about P. Diddy. Oh, did he do it? The
SPEAKER_02:P. Diddy trial. P. Diddy trial. We got Cassie telling her story. We got the defense victim blaming, or however you want to word it. It has been an interesting past few days on this trial. I mean... The charges that they're trying to get Diddy on are interesting. I mean, I think it's like sex trafficking charges and, of course, domestic abuse and all that kind
SPEAKER_01:of stuff. Okay, so from a federal standpoint, they're going after him for racketeering, sex trafficking, transportation for the purposes of prostitution.
SPEAKER_02:Okay.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah. Well, to the federal. At the state level, he is being charged with... Where did it go? I missed it. It disappeared. It did disappear on me. Fuck off. Give me 10 seconds. Take
SPEAKER_02:your time. We'll pick up the words for him right now. But it has been an interesting couple of days because Cassie's I didn't know all of Cassie's story, right? Like I knew I knew of Cassie. I knew that she was involved with Diddy at some point in time. I knew that she got together with Kid Cudi and Michael B. Jordan at certain points in time. So. Hearing her story. You know what I mean? The shit she went through and endured is... It's fucking wild to me. And to know that she was... I did not know that she was 19 when Diddy first... When Diddy first basically met her. That she was 19. She was an up-and-coming model and singer. And apparently Diddy got her into a contract. I'm using air quotes for those of you listening for 10 albums and only one was done. Only made one album in her like entire tenure under Diddy and the bad boy label. And it's like. That was such a trap for Cassie. Yep. And it's like... Like, for me, I feel like that's obvious, right? Like, because only one album, and me being into music, right? I kind of know that part of the reason why being independent is really nice is because you don't have a label or an executive breathing down your neck saying, hey, I need this... I need the next album. You know what I'm saying? Like... I've heard from many artists that you have your entire life to make your first album. You can take as much time as you want to get your first album out. But once you get that first album out, you are now on the clock for album number two, number three, number four, however many albums they got you for. You are now on the clock once you get that first album.
SPEAKER_00:Yep.
SPEAKER_02:Because they almost want you to get an album out almost every year so you can stay relevant and shit like that. So, for me, for Cassie to only get one out of those ten fucking albums out... Hello? Why did Diddy keep her around now?
SPEAKER_00:I mean, it was pretty
SPEAKER_01:obvious. Right, they were doing freak-offs and stuff.
SPEAKER_00:So... He was starting to seriously manipulate her.
SPEAKER_02:Right.
SPEAKER_00:And brainwash her. And love bomb her.
SPEAKER_02:Basically.
SPEAKER_00:Yes.
SPEAKER_02:Basically, basically, that's what that was. And. I don't know, because I know Malina and I, we thought we kind of talked about this a little earlier today, got it kind of got into a whole topic of Hollywood and how it's, you know, we've we've heard all the stories and, you know, with Jeffrey Epstein and.
UNKNOWN:And.
SPEAKER_02:harvey whatever the fuck his face is
SPEAKER_00:weinstein
SPEAKER_02:weinstein they all have they all have steen in their name anyway um but we you know we've all heard the stories and all the crazy shit that that that goes on with that and it's kind of like melina told me about um blink twice which i haven't watched which i'm going to watch that this weekend um i do want i do want to see that movie but she told me a little bit about blink twice and how it kind of like Kind of goes hand in hand with the situation because we did ask, well, I at least asked her the question, like, even though there's a lot of shit that goes on over there, a lot of high power fucking execs that do shady ass shit, a lot of the people that are involved in that are victims, as Melina pointed out. So, we as, you know, the middle class, lower class, whatever you want to call yourself, we look at that And we're like, they make millions, billions of dollars, what have you. And they should be fine, right? They're okay. But when you look at it, if they're... Like, when you look at them as a victim of what is going on in Hollywood, where is their voice? You know what I'm saying? Like, where are the people that speak up for them?
SPEAKER_00:Mm-hmm. It should be the people at the top. But it's the people at the top... that are abusing their power. I
SPEAKER_01:mean, to be fair, I don't think the victims have a voice.
SPEAKER_00:Well, they don't because they can't. Someone at the top, someone higher up in that food chain needs to stand up. Like with Gwyneth Paltrow, for example, Brad Pitt stepped in with the whole Harvey Weinstein thing because he attempted to sexually assault her to blackmail her or hold... a roll over her head until she performed you know a sexual favor and he stood up and was like nah you're not gonna do that and said that straight to dude's face so more people need to be like that but then when you do have some high higher up on the food chain actors or um just famous people in general um Some of them get they start to come out hot like this is what's actually going on. And this is this is this and this is that. And then all of a sudden they're crazy. And they're
SPEAKER_01:the backlash.
SPEAKER_00:Well, no, I mean, it ruins their career. Right.
SPEAKER_02:Like Mel Gibson's your Jim Carrey's. I know that they came out and wanted to say, you know, they spoke out about a lot of stuff that was going on behind the scenes. And Monique.
SPEAKER_01:And they're all labeled as crazy.
SPEAKER_02:Right. Yeah,
SPEAKER_00:Monique is the same way.
SPEAKER_02:Absolutely. With her and Tyler Perry. And I know she talked a little bit about it on Shannon's podcast, right?
SPEAKER_00:Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. She's very, very public about it.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, her interview with Shea Shea was actually pretty decent. I don't think there's ever really one on Club Shea Shea that I don't think he ever has a bad interview because I think it's... He's got something good going on there. But regardless...
SPEAKER_01:He's accused of shit too.
SPEAKER_02:Well, yes. You're absolutely right. You are absolutely right. And, you know, that's a whole other mess.
SPEAKER_01:Right, and it just sucks because... It's
SPEAKER_02:a whole other mess.
SPEAKER_01:It's like everyone you gravitate towards is under something or has done something. Right. And... It's sad.
SPEAKER_02:They always say don't meet your heroes, right?
SPEAKER_01:Right, right.
SPEAKER_00:Well, it's like, you know, when you have situations like this, you see, if you just look at Diddy's history as a young'un coming up, has these dreams and aspirations, and he wants to be an entrepreneur and this, that, and the other, and he is successful in that. Kids should be able to look up to people like that. Yes. And they can't because even if they do, the message that he's sending is once you get to this place of power and you have this fuck you money, basically, and you have also people on your payroll that will fucking kill people or really hurt someone, you can do whatever you want. You can just take what you want. And that's the message that he's sending, which really sucks because it's not just him.
SPEAKER_02:Right. He's
SPEAKER_00:the ringleader, but he's not just him. I can tell you this right now.
SPEAKER_01:If this motherfucker is found guilty
SPEAKER_00:and
SPEAKER_01:has to spend time... Because that's the thing. So getting back to what I was talking about, his federal charges, everything that's being said and talked about from my understanding of the law, it's all falling underneath assault and rape and stuff of that nature. I'm not seeing where racketeering... The federal charges is what's going to hold the heaviest convictions or sentences, I guess you'd say. Transportation to engage in prostitution. Yeah, he's... these escorts are doing stuff with cassie it doesn't necessarily mean he was paying them like they gotta like i mean the chances okay i'm not trying to give like say that he wasn't paying them the chances are he was paying them but they've got to prove that though like unfortunately that's the way it works right and i mean we're not in the courtroom we're not hearing every last word that gets said unless you go through and read all the transcripts from those and that's too much I'm not doing that I'm telling you that right now it's a lot and then like you get down to some of these what's being described in some of these cases and it's very sickening and you're like ugh like how Cassie got mouth sores because she was doing stuff for so long and it's just like really bad UTIs and peeing on her and there's a point where it becomes just too sick. And you're just like, yeah, that's enough for my brain today. And you start pushing it to the side. That's the reason why cameras aren't allowed in the courtroom. Because the stuff is so graphic.
SPEAKER_00:Well, it's federal.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, that too.
SPEAKER_00:It's federal, so there's no
SPEAKER_01:cameras. I didn't know that. Okay,
SPEAKER_00:I didn't
SPEAKER_01:know that.
SPEAKER_02:It's not like the Amber Heard Johnny Depp case.
SPEAKER_01:right but it sounds like a lot of it is going to fall into the state the state charges what I think is going to end up happening
SPEAKER_00:and it's possible yeah I think if he goes down
SPEAKER_01:right but if he goes down and he fucking is found guilty of any federal crime I'm telling you right now that motherfucker is going to sing
SPEAKER_02:oh yeah
SPEAKER_01:that motherfucker is like oh hell no I ain't going to be the only one that goes down for this
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, but see, he can't be... And I really do hope that these people that are in charge of this case understand this. This motherfucker cannot be trusted even if he were to sing. You can't trust what comes out of his mouth. He's a fucking bullshitter and he's got a dude that's sitting in fucking prison for something that he didn't even do. For years upon years upon years.
SPEAKER_01:You're talking about what's his case? Yeah, he got out, didn't he?
SPEAKER_00:I think he's out now, but
SPEAKER_01:he's out. Yeah. He just got a reason.
SPEAKER_00:I mean, he was, I mean, he spent what? 15 years.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah. He spent. Yeah. After his first album, which is crazy. Yeah, it is crazy. Crazy. But I just got a feeling that like, here's the thing. If he is found guilty, he will be like, so like he already turned down a couple of plea bargains, but there's nothing saying, look, if I can get a reduced sentence, I'll give you guys more names, more information. Um, I'm telling you, he's going to do what 6ix9ine
SPEAKER_00:did. First of all, I don't think he's going to do that because I really do believe that he's so fucking full of himself. He thinks he's going to get out of this.
SPEAKER_01:He really does think he's going to. Yes, he does. I've listened to a couple little snippets on social media and they say that as each day goes on you get to see him like Slowly, like, his confidence is slowly depleting. And it's like, good. Good. He's a dirty fuck.
SPEAKER_02:He is a dirty fuck.
SPEAKER_01:Honestly,
SPEAKER_00:I don't think that... I really don't think he thought Cassie would show up. And I know that they've called in a couple other people that she had dated.
SPEAKER_01:People from Danny D. Cain are going to be testifying. Aubrey O'Day is on trial today. I think she was on trial today, I think. Good luck. Yeah, I think... I hope
SPEAKER_00:that he understands. And even if he does sing, like, fine, yes, tell us the other scumbags that we already know are fucking scumbags. Go ahead and do that and ruin those people for us. Which I shouldn't even say stuff like that because if these people are victimizing women and men, not just women, then... they need to be held responsible for that and held accountable. And even if that means that someone takes justice into their own hands, at some point in time, these people are going to get what's coming to them.
SPEAKER_02:Probably.
SPEAKER_00:But at the same time, no plea deal should ever be made with him because he's the fucking ringleader of this shit.
SPEAKER_01:Oh, he's already turned down.
SPEAKER_00:He turned down pleas. Yeah, I get it. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:But he turned down a plead bargain already once before this shit even got started. I don't know what he was offered, but he turned it down. And then here's the other frustrating part. They released text messages between Cassie and P. Diddy. And there's text messages of him asking her when she wanted to do the next party.
SPEAKER_02:Yep.
SPEAKER_01:And what day works best for you? Like... trying to paint the picture that he wasn't the only person she wanted it just as much as he wanted it.
SPEAKER_02:That's the defense's angle. She's not as innocent as she's trying to make herself out to be.
SPEAKER_01:I'm not saying all of it, but there's a lot of the stuff that's being discussed and it was consensual. There are bits and pieces of the stories that are consensual, and then obviously there's a lot that's not. And I would hate to have to decide or figure out what's what.
SPEAKER_02:Because
SPEAKER_01:when you see text messages like that, it's like, what the fuck?
SPEAKER_02:No, I get it. Because when they bring in text messages that show your willingness to go through something like that, Yeah, it does kind of damage your argument a little bit. A little bit, yeah. But at the same time, you've got to think of when were these text messages sent? Were they recent? Were they a year ago, two years ago? Was it when she was 19, 20, 21 years old when she was in the thick of it and she learned that Diddy gets violent? So she said... is she learned that he gets violent often. So at that point, is it just her appeasing the guy because she doesn't want to start shit and get her ass beat? You know what I'm saying? It does become a slippery slope after a while because then you kind of like, you almost come to the point where you are blaming Cassie for something that's like, oh, well, I mean, like in like, some rape cases were like, well, they shouldn't have been wearing what they were wearing. That
SPEAKER_01:doesn't work that way.
SPEAKER_02:You know what I mean? No, that's not okay.
SPEAKER_01:It's just frustrating because you know the follow-up questions. Once those text messages were shown, I'm sure the question is, So how many other ones did you plan? Correct. And if you were such an abusive relationship, why would you even entertain that? If you're not near them, couldn't you just leave? I mean,
SPEAKER_00:it's frustrating. I do get it. Unless you've been in an abusive situation, no one fucking knows what that's like. You'll do whatever the fuck it takes so you don't get your fucking ass beat. Exactly. Which is exactly what she did.
SPEAKER_02:It's
SPEAKER_00:so shitty.
SPEAKER_02:It is shitty. And that's kind of what I felt like was happening with those text messages, because she did say in her testimony that her time under Diddy kind of went from, you know, obviously work and him being her executive producer, she being... his uh artists that um he's he's working with it went from that to these freak offs were now her job is what she said that it kind of like these freak offs kind of became her job from Diddy instead of focusing on on music and that's why
SPEAKER_01:did you see
SPEAKER_02:go ahead what were you gonna
SPEAKER_01:ask no I was just gonna say did you see the length of how long some of these parties went
SPEAKER_02:yeah she said the longest one was like four days
SPEAKER_01:four days four
SPEAKER_02:fucking days who can do that for four fucking days
SPEAKER_01:I can't do it for four minutes.
SPEAKER_00:Right? Stop. That's why there's drugs involved. Right? I just need four fucking seconds. Like, come on, bro.
SPEAKER_01:You get a blue pill. You get a blue pill.
SPEAKER_02:You know what I'm saying? Come on, bro. What the fuck? So, I don't know. So, if it becomes your job, right? And he's violent, as she says. And she's like... She shows a little bit of resistance. What happens? Does she get her ass beat?
SPEAKER_01:What happens is what you see in the video in the hotel.
SPEAKER_02:Exactly. You've got to weigh your
SPEAKER_00:options at that point. That was towards the end of that whole situation between them. I know how she felt in that moment. Running from somebody and having something like that happen. It sucks. It's shitty because you can't get away. And the shittier part about it is that there are people there capable of helping you and won't because they're also afraid of them. Right.
SPEAKER_01:You know what's even crazier? Said people had this video. And at the time that this happened, I'm sure money was given to said people and said, don't you ever... let this shit see the daylight. Matter of fact, let me have that copy. And then someone had a fucking sneaky copy on the side. And that's what's
SPEAKER_00:wild. It'd be stupid not to though, for real. Oh
SPEAKER_01:my God. That's what's frustrating though. Like if something, I'm going to use the word worse would have happened. And we don't know what other stuff has happened since that video. So the other worst stuff could have happened, but let's say she would have been killed.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:Like, you accepted money, like, does that not make you guilty also?
SPEAKER_02:See, and that's where me and Melina were kind of, we touched on that, because it's like, that's the other part of it, right? Like, you have the other parties that are a part of this that could easily step in and say, hey, this is kind of fucked up, let's
SPEAKER_01:stop doing this. Right, enough is enough. Everyone's gone too far.
SPEAKER_02:Right, but at the same time, like, if you don't have a plan B, right, and plan A is literally, I have to work for this animal, You know how a lot of the times they'll be like, you say anything about this and you can kiss your career goodbye.
SPEAKER_01:Right.
SPEAKER_02:If there's no plan B for you, if plan A completely fails and you just wind up on your ass, you don't have anybody or anything like that, what are your options? Do you say something and risk losing the career, the money that that's coming in. We're not in that situation. We're not. And it's crazy because when you think about it, you're like, oh, they're making thousands, millions of dollars. Like I said, they're fine. They're okay. But they have literally somebody saying, you say anything about this, you're done. You'll never be able to work in the music industry again. You'll never be able to work in Hollywood again. They use those lines. And you're like, So what are your options? What do you do? Do you say something? Do you risk
SPEAKER_00:that? Light their shit on fire.
SPEAKER_02:Hey, burn it all to the fucking ground, right? Start over. Seriously. Seriously.
SPEAKER_01:And you've been reset to zero. Level zero.
SPEAKER_00:There you go.
SPEAKER_02:There
SPEAKER_00:you go. I mean... Burn Hollywood. Did either... Like, seriously. Yeah. Burn it all to the ground. But did either of you watch the... I think it's called The Rise and Fall of Diddy.
SPEAKER_02:I did not. I did not. Was
SPEAKER_00:that on Hulu? Yeah. I think so. I can't remember which one it was on. There was a couple
SPEAKER_01:different ones. Is that the one made by 50 Cent?
SPEAKER_00:I don't know, but it has a lot of people on there that some disguise themselves and they won't show their face. And here's
SPEAKER_01:another thing. I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_00:That saw the shit.
SPEAKER_01:He was married to J-Lo.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, and J-Lo's quiet right now. She's suspiciously quiet right now. She was involved in a lot of stuff that she shouldn't have been involved in. I wouldn't doubt it. I bet J-Lo knows
SPEAKER_01:some shit. That's my point right there. I bet J-Lo knows
SPEAKER_02:some shit.
SPEAKER_01:Man, I'm telling you right now. Oh my God, I'm telling you. once he realizes his ass is done
SPEAKER_02:he's gonna rat some people out
SPEAKER_01:he's gonna rat some people out he is gonna name drop and he will only name drop if he can get cause some of these sentences say life like some of these charges are life in prison
SPEAKER_00:like racketeering is life in prison yep
SPEAKER_01:if he sees that the light at the end of the tunnel is getting smaller and smaller and like very very tiny And he does a last, like, Hail Mary, like, look. I'll sing, but I don't want life. I want 10, 15 years tops.
SPEAKER_02:And then I want to be out.
SPEAKER_00:I don't really quite know how that works in a federal case, though. If this was not federal, it may be a different scenario. But with this being a federal case, basically, doesn't that make it a RICO case because of the racketeering and all that stuff? It might. And the sex trafficking, it's like the group of charges. There's got to be so many different things grouped together. I've heard about that
SPEAKER_02:before. It might. It might.
SPEAKER_00:And let me tell you something. The federal government's not going to put racketeering on him if it's not
SPEAKER_02:racketeering. Yeah, because that was the one thing a lot of people were saying. Once the feds kick your door in, they got a case of you. They literally have it. They have everything that they need. Yeah, they have everything that they need to put you away. So, that's why I'm thinking, Diddy's going away. Diddy's gonna do some jail time. Diddy's gonna do a lot of jail time. I was gonna say, it might be life. You know, we may never see Diddy again, which, good! You know what I'm saying? Hopefully. You know what I mean? Like, good, because you're a piece of shit. You know what I mean? You
SPEAKER_00:gotta go away. So, like... So
SPEAKER_01:his charges fall into the RICO. Okay.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, I thought so. If it's a RICO case, he's pretty much fucked.
SPEAKER_02:So there you
SPEAKER_00:go. It's just like, I don't really, and I don't really remember, so if you guys know, refresh my memory, but how did the young thug... um trial end up
SPEAKER_02:that i don't oh my god it was such a fucking farce let's go ahead and start
SPEAKER_00:okay just so you know one of his attorneys was also young thugs attorney
SPEAKER_02:really really
SPEAKER_00:yeah he's got like six or seven attorneys right now did he does yeah yes
SPEAKER_02:of course he fucking does
SPEAKER_00:And they're all... I
SPEAKER_01:guess he was found guilty? Young Thug? Yeah.
SPEAKER_02:They did find him guilty? Young Thug, it was...
SPEAKER_01:He was sentenced to time served and 15 years of probation with restriction on visiting the Atlanta area for 10 years. Wow.
SPEAKER_00:And I believe it's because that was also a RICO case.
SPEAKER_01:Mm-hmm. It was.
SPEAKER_00:But I believe it was because there was so much corruption on the defense side and the prosecution side. Oh, yeah. There was a whole lot
SPEAKER_02:of... Again, that whole case was a fucking farce. That whole case was a farce. Because if I'm not mistaken, that's the case where I believe it was the defense... had a sidebar with the judge that they weren't supposed to have. Right,
SPEAKER_01:yes. And they
SPEAKER_02:basically were saying that the guy that was testifying, they found out that he knew shit that could incriminate Young Thug and was basically like, well, you need to say something or you're going to jail. And they were threatening the guy and all kinds of shit. And then the prosecution was like, yo, so I heard you were... You had a little sidebar with the defense over here and didn't disclose the information to us. And the judge didn't deny it. He was just like, who told you that?
SPEAKER_00:Like, bro, what do you mean? Bitch, you can't do that! I mean, he had to pay some kind of a consequence because they had the evidence. But at the same time, it's like, you are not going to imprison this man because it's so corrupt.
SPEAKER_01:Apparently, he pleaded guilty Young Thug did, and that helped him dodge the lengthy prison time.
SPEAKER_02:Really?
SPEAKER_01:Yeah.
SPEAKER_02:See, I didn't follow... I didn't follow... Typically, I don't follow them all the way through. It's just, like, the juicy parts, the meat and potatoes, right? So it's like... Now, Diddy, I might follow all the way through, because, I mean...
SPEAKER_00:I'm definitely here for that, because... You know,
SPEAKER_02:because Diddy's been around for so long, number one. And, again, something me and Melina talked about, we were like, Yes. Yes.
SPEAKER_00:I don't have... Well, you and I talked about it. I don't have a problem stopping listening to anything bad, boy, because it's not my style of music anyways. I find it to be trash, in my opinion. That's just my opinion.
SPEAKER_01:There's a couple songs I fucked with, though. I mean, I
SPEAKER_00:will... I won't listen to it. I
SPEAKER_01:need a girl part two.
SPEAKER_02:it's it's a jam it is a jam so but but like like i get where melina's coming from because like no i get it i do r kelly thing i know you're yeti a huge r kelly fan for me i was never big on r kelly anyway so once he was found guilty i stopped listening and i was like i have no problem because
SPEAKER_01:i don't
SPEAKER_00:listen to him now but i used to love him
SPEAKER_01:okay so that means you probably didn't did you hear the the uh the the the cover he did for uh out of jail r kelly
SPEAKER_02:lord no please don't play
SPEAKER_01:it don't
SPEAKER_02:want to hear it
SPEAKER_01:no no no no no i'm not gonna play i'm not gonna play it but no no no what's there's a chris brown song and it was it was a trend for a while there um
UNKNOWN:Fuck.
SPEAKER_01:What song was it? It was on his new album.
SPEAKER_02:I don't know.
SPEAKER_01:Chris Brown's... Hold on.
SPEAKER_02:Okay, Chris Brown. I haven't listened to Chris Brown's new album. And I just stare clear of everything R. Kelly. That's just how it is now. But now it's like... Because Bad Boy had their hand in just about everything back in the day. It was almost like you couldn't escape Bad Boy. Diddy was trying to get his hands into everything. And I don't know. I don't know. Like, for me, yeah, if you're not a huge fan of him, don't support him. Don't support Bad Boy. You know what I mean? I won't. If it's that easy for you, go for it. This one does have me kind of torn, because Notorious B.I.G. I like Biggie. I like Pac. I prefer Pac over Biggie, but... You know, Pac had it right back in the day. fuck bad boy entertainment
SPEAKER_01:so there so what i was trying to remember was it was a tiktok thing it was called residuals okay and all a lot of the art the old r&b singers were like hey if there was a remix this is what my verse would sound like kank did one yeah mario did one and then out comes r kelly from the fucking jail cell phone Fucking bum.
SPEAKER_00:He should just sit down and shut the fuck up. Fucking bum.
SPEAKER_01:You say that, but the sad part is he had the best one. Stop it. I hate to say that, but he really did. He really did. I was like, fuck. Wrong. I'm not
SPEAKER_02:listening
SPEAKER_01:to it. I'm just letting you know that it's out there. But anyway.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah. It's wild right now. And... I don't know.
SPEAKER_01:It's only going to get worse too because we're only on like day three or four of the trial.
SPEAKER_02:They want to try to wrap it up quickly because Cassie is like eight months pregnant and she's like due any moment now. Right, well, her
SPEAKER_01:portion's already done. From my understanding, her portion's done. They wanted her first because she's due very soon.
SPEAKER_02:Right, but defense was literally trying to get her to come back Monday. Really? Yeah, the court was just like, absolutely fucking not. Like, she's pregnant. She's literally about to pop out a child. She's not going to
SPEAKER_01:come back here. Well, they're saying that this trial could take about up to eight weeks.
SPEAKER_02:Okay. Because I'm sure they have a lot of shit
SPEAKER_01:to go through. There's a lot.
SPEAKER_02:Again... The feds kicked his fucking door in. I bet you they've got a ton of shit to go through. And Diddy is fucked.
SPEAKER_00:You know what really pisses me off? And I know it's the process. I know it's the justice system. And I know he has the right to do it. But they want to bring this woman back that had to endure everything that she had to endure so that the defense can make her... as small as possible and stress her the fuck out to where she goes into fucking labor
SPEAKER_02:with
SPEAKER_00:her baby.
SPEAKER_02:You
SPEAKER_00:know what I'm saying? No, I'm glad that the court was like, no, you fuck off. Leave her alone.
SPEAKER_02:The judge is like, no bullshit. That judge proceeding over this is like, ain't taking no
SPEAKER_00:shit. He is not. And what's funny is there's a lot of the press that is in there, in the court every day. Like the one I told you about, Rotten Mangoes. She's in there. And she said that this judge is a no bullshit, don't even think that you're going to fuck around in his courtroom kind of judge. Like, you're not buying this one off.
SPEAKER_02:Good.
SPEAKER_00:It's not going to happen. Good. We need more like that.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah. Honestly, we do. But yeah, it's wild out there right now, y'all. It's fucking crazy. Cass, I hope there is justice for Cassie. You know what I'm saying? She went through a lot of shit. She endured a lot of shit. And now she's telling her story. I don't know. Again, when you think about it, there are a lot of victims in Hollywood and the music industry. You get a lot of people, like Melina said, you get a lot of people in power that get this idea in their head that they're untouchable. Once you get to that point, they feel like they're untouchable and they can do anything. And, you know, what the... Number one, who the fuck thinks of a freak-off? Like, who in their
SPEAKER_00:right mind... Someone that's got... I mean... So
SPEAKER_01:here's the thing.
SPEAKER_00:I ask for every chair, but you... Like, you have to be a really sick motherfucker to do this kind of shit.
SPEAKER_01:So, two... Okay. And this is going to sound horrible. Here we go. no no no I'm sure
SPEAKER_02:out
SPEAKER_01:the gate it didn't start off like that
SPEAKER_02:oh hell no
SPEAKER_01:I'm sure out the gate it was a party thousands hundreds of people came through it was good good good and it's just like a typical house party people were probably off in other rooms doing their own thing and then it's just like little baby steps and this is like and this is why like I hate to say it. I don't know how to say this. Because we've talked about it before on the podcast. When people have so much money that they no longer can get their fix down here. So they have to up the bar up to get their fix. And up the bar up even more to get their fix. And before you know it, they're in the freak off party section, which is disgusting. And that's the only way they can get their fix. Because what was basic for us is no longer appealing to them.
SPEAKER_02:So are you saying that money is a gateway drug?
SPEAKER_01:To be fair, probably. To be honest, to be fair, yes. Food for thought. Yeah, no, no, no, I'm being serious. Because how many times have you heard people say, oh, money doesn't erase drugs? It doesn't give you happiness.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, they say money doesn't buy happiness, and they also say that money changes you. I've also heard that money doesn't change you. It just makes you more of who you already are. Because you now can afford to be like that. When you were poor, you can't be doing that dumb shit. Because if you or I were to do some shit like that, We'd be under the jail already. You know what I mean? We wouldn't make it out of it alive, probably. But because he's got money and he has the power to do that, maybe he's always been like that. It's slowly
SPEAKER_01:gotten worse over the years.
SPEAKER_02:Exactly. Everybody's been enabling him to do what he wants to do. And now he's like, you know, and now he's like in this position of power where he's like, if you don't enable me in what I want to do, I can fuck your life up. Right. I'll make you walk to get my cheese. I
SPEAKER_00:mean, it's just, it's just
SPEAKER_01:fucking sad.
SPEAKER_00:It's kind of like you and I were talking, um, yesterday morning about it. Like he's one of these people that you aren't shit. You haven't made it. Until you're invited to a Diddy party. Yes. Where you have something to do at Diddy. 100%. Or you're invited to go to Epstein's Island. Or you're invited to these parties from Weinstein. Or going golfing with Trump. Or, you know what I'm saying? Yep. Like, Tyler Perry's the same way. Oprah's the same way. You know, they're all up there with those, you know... basically what I call the leaders. They're the top of the food chain type people. That are all shitty fucking people. How many fucking times do these people have to be at the top and do all this horrific shit before someone does something? This is why no one can ever come out and use their voice. These women can't, men can't, because God only knows how many fucking men have been sexually assaulted in Hollywood. That shit's never talked about.
SPEAKER_02:I know Terry Crews shared his story about how he was sexually harassed when he was coming up in his stardom. And
SPEAKER_00:people look at him like he's crazy now.
SPEAKER_02:Well, because people typically... you know especially for men i mean they they kind of get that unfair you know oh like anybody could do that to you especially terry cruz you know he's a bit he's a big dude he's a giant dude yeah right nobody's gonna shit can't happen to you right that can't happen to you shut up right and it just kind of gets brushed off to the wayside so it's like that that's why i said like in the long run you don't really realize how many of them are victims of the of their environment, of what they've wanted to do, got to the point they wanted to be at, and now they've fallen victim to somebody that's going to exploit them and abuse them. Where is their voice? Like, where are the people that aren't afraid to step forward and can't be bought, and aren't afraid to, you know, this is my career, to expose fuckheads like you that abuse people that just want to, you know, do what they've always dreamed of doing. And you're tainting that.
SPEAKER_00:That's why I'm so happy that Cassie came out, and she did testify. She's being the voice for so many people. Yes, she is.
SPEAKER_02:Yes, she is. Cassie
SPEAKER_00:is leading the way. So is Megan Thee Stallion. She did the same thing. Anybody that comes, that is in that position and willing to risk everything. Mm-hmm. They're doing a good thing because obviously that's why so many people don't say anything is because everyone at the top is a piece of shit. They're all pieces of shit. They'll fucking destroy you as a human being. And
SPEAKER_02:that's why you have to be...
SPEAKER_00:As quickly as they possibly can.
SPEAKER_02:That's why you have to not be afraid to lose everything even though I don't want you to. Because you didn't ask for that. Again, you didn't get there with the intention of being used and abused, you were like, I've always wanted to sing. I've always wanted to act. I've always wanted to do X, Y, Z. And this is how I get to here. Yeah. And now, now I'm working for some dickhead that's like, well, guess what? This guy's going to piss in your mouth real quick. And this is your life. The fuck'd you say? Right. You know what
SPEAKER_00:I mean? Like, that's why I'm so happy that, and I really hope that this happens, but I'm really happy that Michael B. Jordan, uh, is going to go and testify on Cassie's behalf.
SPEAKER_02:Yes. I don't know if he has already or not, but I know that he is supposed to be a
SPEAKER_00:witness for the prosecution. He is obviously who he is. And, you know, he has really come in with a very strong presence. And his, I mean, his word has weight. For sure.
SPEAKER_02:For sure.
SPEAKER_00:So, and he don't give a fuck. It's his presence about him. Like, he is a no-nonsense person. It seems as if he's a no-nonsense kind of person.
SPEAKER_02:Fingers
SPEAKER_00:crossed. And you're not going to ruin him. Right. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02:Fingers
SPEAKER_01:crossed he is, right? Fingers
SPEAKER_02:crossed that he is a no-nonsense kind of person, because... At this point, nothing
SPEAKER_00:surprises
SPEAKER_02:me anymore. Right, right,
SPEAKER_00:right. I just hope not because I really enjoy him as an actor. I love Michael B.
SPEAKER_02:Jordan. Right, I love Michael B. Jordan. Same, same. So I'm really hoping that he doesn't turn out to be a total dickhole. D-bag. Yeah, because I would be so upset. I'd be so fucking upset if Michael B. Jordan was.
SPEAKER_00:I know.
SPEAKER_02:I'm like, no! Not my boy! Sinners were so good! Why would you do this? Right, right, right.
SPEAKER_01:The only person that I can say I absolutely enjoyed watching was Chadwick Boseman.
SPEAKER_02:Oh, yeah. Boswick. Yeah. Chadwick was... He was a real one. He was a real one and taken too goddamn soon. That's for goddamn sure. Big facts, big facts. So... Yeah. But I know we want to... We are kind of coming up on time, so I want to kind of wrap this up a little bit. Again... Keep your eye on this trial, because I'm sure there's a lot more to come. Cassie, you know, keep doing your thing. Crush these motherfuckers. And everybody else that is going against the defense, fight the good fight, because there's a lot of people out there that need you. You know what I mean? Like,
SPEAKER_00:I would also, side note, like to say what a fucking shitty-ass father he is, having his fucking children there while all this shit's being said. That's
SPEAKER_02:crazy
SPEAKER_00:shit. Wild behavior. Don't
SPEAKER_02:approve. There are some people that are speculating that their kids knew what was going on anyway.
SPEAKER_00:The son's already been accused of it.
SPEAKER_02:Really?
SPEAKER_00:Yes. So
SPEAKER_02:if that is the case...
SPEAKER_00:I don't know. They'll never get... And I think that what they have tried to do is get the son to flip on him, and he won't do it.
SPEAKER_02:Really?
SPEAKER_00:Wow. Which tells me he's just as sick as his dad.
SPEAKER_02:That's what that means. That's what that means. Well, hey, take the whole fucking family down, guys. I
SPEAKER_00:think that we should... We should revisit this in a few episodes. We can. Depending on how this goes, because I'm sure it's only going to get crazier.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, I think so, too.
SPEAKER_02:It's almost like the OJ trial. This will be like OJ part dough, but with P. Diddy. So we will come back. We will revisit it after everything's said and done and when the dust settles and maybe after we get a verdict and all that kind of stuff. We'll revisit it and
SPEAKER_00:chat a little bit more about it. He's such a grimy bitch. He is. He absolutely is. So
SPEAKER_02:we'll pin this for a later date. But for now, if you guys want to, we can do fun and games. I know, Yeti, you wanted to wait on it. I want to see
SPEAKER_00:how he feels. We can wait until we're all here. That's what you want to do. I know
SPEAKER_02:which one I want to use.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, the 101.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, the 100 V1.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah. And I want to talk about it, but I want to wait because I want everyone's opinion on it.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, let's just wait till everybody's here.
SPEAKER_01:Okay, then... I know, you guys
SPEAKER_02:hate me. No, it's cool because I do want to have everybody involved in that conversation. And unfortunately, we've been missing a few for the last couple episodes. Which, Grizz, by the way, is in New York having the time of his life. So, Grizz, enjoy. Eat all of New York's pizza. Eat them out of pizza. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey.
SPEAKER_01:Hey.
SPEAKER_02:Hey. I'm walking in here. I'm walking in here. Don't fucking say that. Yeah, well, you do now. So, okay, we'll hold off on fun and games. With that, who wants a fun fact? Let's hear a fun fact,
SPEAKER_01:because I need
SPEAKER_02:a little nap. Oh, yeah, here we go, because Yeti doesn't like fun facts, apparently. Did you know? Y'all ready for this? Mm-hmm. That fish form orderly queues in emergencies?
SPEAKER_00:I'm sorry. What?
SPEAKER_02:They form orderly queues in emergencies.
SPEAKER_00:No. Why would I know
SPEAKER_02:that? Do you want to hear more about it?
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, I absolutely do, yeah. Okay,
SPEAKER_02:so every apocalypse or supervillain movie features a stampede scene where selfish humans push through one another to ensure their own survival, only to make everything worse! One very sensible species of fish forms cues to avoid exactly this issue, according to a new study. When evacuating through narrow spaces, schools of neon tetrafish... queue so they don't collide or clog up the line. We interrupt this behavior as respecting the social rules even in an emergency situation. I don't know how to pronounce these names, so forgive me, but Arlie DuPont and Philippe Pela, co-authors of the study published in Scientific Reports, told BBC Science Focus. It seems that humans, like sheep, tend to quickly forget about social rules when they encounter a stressful situation and rather adopt a selfish behavior. In the wild, neon tetra fish have to navigate around rocks in the rivers they swim along to test how they do... To test how they do this when moving in large groups, a team of scientists from the University Grenoble Alpes in France put the fish in a tank with narrow openings leading to other compartments. These openings ranged in size from one and a half to four centimeters, not much bigger than the size of the fish themselves, which are three centimeters long and half a centimeter wide. The scientists then moved a fishing net through the tank and observed groups of 30 neon tetrafish as they evacuated through these openings. So... Crowd movements occur across many species and at different scales, but with varying degrees of success. The scientists who conducted this study note that the evacuation behavior of neon tetra fish is similar to behavior in ants, but a far cry from the clogged up chaos of evacuation by sheep herds and human crowds. Clogging decreases the efficiency of an evacuation. The team hopes that these findings might inform the development of swarm robots and better traffic controls for both human and autonomous cars. Neon Tetra fish know how to act unlike us in panic situations.
SPEAKER_01:I've seen us act in panic situations. Sorry, buddy. We are terrible. We are bad
SPEAKER_02:at it. We are so fucking bad at it. But apparently there's some fish in nature that know how to act when that shit happens. So. There you go. Good for them. Good for them. You know what I'm saying? Little itty bitty fish. Yeah. Little itty bitty fish. They're like, you know what? Let's not trample each other. Okay. One at a time. Women and children first.
UNKNOWN:Yeah.
SPEAKER_02:You remember that scene in the Titanic when they tried to do that? I was just thinking that. And the guy was like, I'm a woman. This is my child. I'm
SPEAKER_00:all that she's got. I'm all she has. Let me out
SPEAKER_02:of there! Come on, get out of here.
SPEAKER_00:Die like a man.
SPEAKER_02:Exactly! God damn it. Go down with the
SPEAKER_00:ship.
SPEAKER_02:Anyway, Neon Tetra Fish. That's really cool, though. It is pretty neat. It's pretty neat to learn that fish can actually... organized like that.
SPEAKER_00:That's reason 567,020 that humans shouldn't be on this fucking planet. Why humans
SPEAKER_02:suck.
SPEAKER_00:Humans
SPEAKER_02:suck. We do. I don't like us. Oh, listen. Inherently, we're good for the most part, I think. Some of us can be, at least. Right?
SPEAKER_00:Don't you lie to me.
SPEAKER_01:Hey, I'm not lying. I ain't no lying.
SPEAKER_02:I was lying. I'm
SPEAKER_01:lying?
SPEAKER_02:You're lying. I'm not fucking lying. Anyway, with that being said, I do want to remind you, do not forget Magic Mind.
UNKNOWN:Wow!
SPEAKER_02:Yep. Don't forget. And what's
SPEAKER_00:the discount again? So, like, the code itself? Or how much is off? Yeah, how much is off of, like, let's say a membership.
