A theme park can be two completely different things, and that’s where we start swinging. One version is pure adrenaline: giant drops, brutal G-forces, and coasters that leave you wondering how your neck is still attached. The other version is story and atmosphere: parades, hidden details, and immersive design that’s fun even when you skip the rides. We get into the argument with real nostalgia, real regrets, and the kind of late-night honesty that only shows up when everyone’s tired and the jokes get dangerous.

Before we hit the parks, we run through a rapid-fire stack of tangents that somehow still matter: Steam Machine pricing and why paying over a grand for a console PC hybrid feels nuts, the fear of early hardware failures, and what “entry-level PC” actually means in 2026 money. We also touch GTA 6 preorder chatter, then pull a Reddit roulette story that sounds messy until the twist lands and flips the whole room.

Then we go deep on the theme park debate: Six Flags memories, Kings Island versus Cedar Point, and the line between a thrill park and a true theme park. Miss Meseeks brings the Disney World rundown with Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, and the little details that make it feel like an experience instead of a lineup of rides, including the more subtle stuff like scent marketing and how food pricing changes the day. Of course we detour into SeaWorld weirdness, pitch our dream park concepts like Predator and TMNT, and close with a filmography showdown plus a wild orca fact you will not forget.

If you laughed, cringed, or had a strong take at any point, subscribe, share this with your favorite park buddy, and leave us a review. What’s your favorite theme park, and what franchise would you turn into a full park if you could?

SPEAKER_02

Nothing. We switched. Oh, Joe, trust me, I know. It's well aware that you just wing it. No matter what. Doesn't matter. But as long as everybody knows, I guess we can get this started because I don't want to go too late. Don't want to keep people up at night, so yeah, it's without further ado. Welcome back to another beautiful episode of the FMJ podcast where we make all of your wildest fantasies come true. I'm just kidding. We don't do that unless. Unless. You look Miss Meese right in her face. Right in her eyeballs. Stroke her hair twice. And say something about peanut butter and honey. That's the only way we'll do it. I don't know what about peanut butter and honey, but just say something about peanut butter and honey, and I guarantee you your wildest fantasies will come true.

SPEAKER_03

Wait, let me give this a shot. Here we go. Here we go. Okay. Smooth like peanut butter and honey.

SPEAKER_00

Yep.

SPEAKER_03

You did it.

SPEAKER_02

Crunchy peanut butter.

SPEAKER_03

Crunchy peanut butter. Smooth as crunchy peanut butter.

SPEAKER_02

Smooth as crunchy peanut butter. Hey man, I kind of want to start using that as a saying. Man, that one is that one is smooth as crunchy peanut butter.

SPEAKER_03

You gotta use you gotta use it as an insult. Like, damn, you are as smooth as crunchy peanut butter.

SPEAKER_02

You are as smooth as crunchy peanut butter. You know, I could get down with that, honestly, because that is that's yeah, I'm using that at work.

SPEAKER_01

Like that's because that's that's clever.

SPEAKER_02

That's clever.

SPEAKER_03

The next time some guy tries to hit on somebody and he makes him uncomfortable, and you're just like, damn, you're as smooth as crunchy peanut butter.

SPEAKER_02

You're as smooth as crunchy peanut butter, buddy.

SPEAKER_03

Isn't that most times though? I mean, probably. Statistically, probably.

SPEAKER_01

Statistically, I'm going to jail the next time a man hits on me. Oh, damn.

SPEAKER_02

Going to jail? That's crazy. Tomorrow. That's actually crazy. Yeah, believe it or not, directly to jail. Anyway, we have some stuff that we gotta cover. And it is late. It is the 4th of July. Happy 4th. Happy 4th, y'all. It'll be the 4th of J. I'm sorry. It'll be the 4th of July in about 40 minutes. Just so we're for some of us.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

For some of us, however, yeah, it is already the 4th of July. So I mean, if they celebrate the 4th of July. Whatever.

SPEAKER_01

What? Wait, hold on.

SPEAKER_02

Anyway. Damn. Anyway. Yeah. For some people, it's already the 4th of July. They're just not celebrating like we are. So, you know. But you never know. You know, there might be somebody.

SPEAKER_05

Normal people are sleeping.

SPEAKER_01

No, there's there's a whole I'm just gonna be up this late anyway.

SPEAKER_02

There's a whole nother part of the planet that is like just like in the middle of the day right now.

SPEAKER_05

Like that's and they also don't give a fuck about 4th of July.

SPEAKER_02

I'm saying that's why, but still, it is the 4th for them. That's what I'm saying. It's the 4th of July. But that's the 4th of July for everybody. Universally. Yeah, universally, it'll be the 4th of July. So it just is what it is.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

We have a holiday.

SPEAKER_00

We have such extra special price.

Pulse Checks And Fourth Of July

SPEAKER_00

Hey.

SPEAKER_02

So anyway, um, let's go around the room, get some pulses, right? Yeah, check some pulses. Um, Miss Mexic. God damn it.

SPEAKER_01

I never know how to get it on here, so I just make it up. Uh, but actually, the last time I had my pulse check, it was like 72.

SPEAKER_05

72. That's perfect.

SPEAKER_01

Um, yeah. I was in the hospital like a few weeks ago, and my heart rate kept going below like 60. They were like, oh, if it keeps going below 60, you're Brady Cardic. And I was like, what the fuck is that?

SPEAKER_05

That's that's not perfect.

SPEAKER_01

So damn, I didn't know you were.

SPEAKER_02

She's too chill, is what that is. Way too chill. Unbothered. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

I just die. It's no big deal.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, the the level of unbothered everyone should be at below 60. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Alarms kept going off every single time.

SPEAKER_02

I can imagine.

SPEAKER_01

Every single time, like big alarms would go off, and I'm like and then my heart rate would go up just over, and then I'd relax, and then they go off.

SPEAKER_02

Can you imagine? Can you imagine? As she's relaxing, her heart rate's too low, but then she worries because her heart rate's too low, so the heart rate goes up. So it's just like it's how she keeps herself alive.

SPEAKER_05

I would prefer it if you didn't die.

SPEAKER_01

I don't feel one way or the other about it, honestly. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. Am I right?

SPEAKER_03

I respect it.

SPEAKER_02

You know what I usually tell people at work when they're like, hey, what happens if like something blows up? I say, you know, it's no longer my problem at that point.

SPEAKER_00

So my problem at that point, there's really a pro-con list here.

SPEAKER_02

Somebody else will have to deal with this.

SPEAKER_01

It will not be me. I'll finally catch a fucking break. Yeah, yeah, exactly.

SPEAKER_02

I'll probably get some rest. Anyway, so glad you're doing this.

SPEAKER_01

I got more of it real fast. I don't know why you started with me.

SPEAKER_02

So so glad you're doing so well, Miss Meese. Hey Chris, what's your what's your pulse look like?

SPEAKER_03

My pulse is pumping. You know, like I just got off work. Tomorrow is like some freedom day for like majority of the country. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Um, I have to work still, but it's okay. I get off work in time for the fireworks, so that's a plus.

SPEAKER_05

All that shit does keep me awake.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, man. Uh, but things are good, dude. Like, uh, I mean, not everything is good, but right now I'm just focusing on the good. Yeah, yeah. So that's awesome. Um you do what you gotta do. And I think that uh I think that this is gonna be a dope ass weekend.

SPEAKER_02

Hell yeah. Hell yeah. I know we should all have a fascinating weekend, a fantastic weekend, a fun-filled, explosive-filled weekend. Because hopefully it's not like explosive diarrhea or anything. You know what I mean? True.

SPEAKER_05

Jay, what about your weekend?

SPEAKER_02

How are you doing? What what about my weekend? It's not the weekend yet.

SPEAKER_05

It's God, dude. We gotta make fucking we got 20.

SPEAKER_02

We got we got 35 minutes before it's the weekend.

SPEAKER_05

So so tell me about the weekend that you are envisioning.

SPEAKER_02

It's gonna be existing. That's all that's gonna be.

SPEAKER_01

It's gonna be amazing, it's gonna be huge.

SPEAKER_02

It's just gonna be all existing.

SPEAKER_03

I w I I like Misy. One of them bad guys. People tell me they say Donald. Donald is gonna be huge. And I tell you what, it's the biggest I've ever seen.

SPEAKER_02

The biggest I've ever seen. So Templeton, what's your pulse look like?

SPEAKER_05

What a transition? 76.

SPEAKER_02

76. Are you sure it's not 6'7? 6'7. Damn.

SPEAKER_01

See, I was at the gas station.

SPEAKER_03

What?

SPEAKER_01

I really went over to the gas station when he said 76.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So, you know, there's two types of people in the world.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that's true. Three, if you count the people that are like, well, 711 exists, so yeah, I guess there is type A, B, and C.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, theoretically, you probably go, I mean, to Z at least. I'm just saying. Before you start doubling up.

SPEAKER_02

Hey, did you guys know there's only 25 letters in the alphabet?

unknown

No.

SPEAKER_01

Don't play with me.

SPEAKER_02

I don't know why. Anyway, we're good. Anyway, so Devil's in your book.

SPEAKER_05

This is your sibling. Like, you guys have to say genetic code.

SPEAKER_03

You know, someone's gonna get that tomorrow.

SPEAKER_02

Wait, wait. For the joke.

SPEAKER_05

No, I'm just saying, like, come on.

SPEAKER_02

I couldn't help myself. It's just it's just we were talking about letters and alphabet. Anyway. So Templeton, your pulse is at 76. Yeah? 76. Anything new?

SPEAKER_05

Not no.

SPEAKER_02

Not not no? Not no. Got it.

SPEAKER_01

So is that like a yeah?

SPEAKER_02

I mean, that means yes if it's not no.

SPEAKER_01

It's like a it's like a He did say not no.

SPEAKER_02

Not no. It's not a no, but it's not a no. It's also not a yes, apparently. Oh, good grief. Good grief. Okay, well, listen, as long as you're doing fine, that's uh that's all that matters. If everybody's doing good. Yeah, if everybody's doing good, awesome sauce. So we got some stuff to cover. Okay. Because I know that um unfortunately Yeti is not here. He is feeling a little under the weather. Okay. Because I don't know. I think his little ball of protoplasm probably sneezed in his eyeball or something. And now he's sick and he sounds sick. He sounds awful. So he's resting up, get some rest, see you next show. But entertainment news, if anybody wants

Steam Machine Prices Drop

SPEAKER_02

some. Okay. Yes please, yes, please. The steam machine. There is some news about that. They got a price tag. Did anybody see the price tag for the steam machine?

SPEAKER_03

Are you talking about the steam cube?

SPEAKER_02

I'm sto I'm talking about the steam cube. Wait, wait, what'd you say in this meeting?

SPEAKER_01

I thought we were going to the Industrial Revolution. I was like, the Steam Machine. What are we talking about? Steam.

SPEAKER_06

The Steam Machine.

SPEAKER_02

He's like steam plane. She's like, wait a minute, wait a minute. What steel city are we visiting? We don't like Pittsburgh.

SPEAKER_01

I've been very confused for a little bit. I was like, um We don't like Pittsburgh.

SPEAKER_02

So yeah, the Steam Machine, which is actually just the uh uh Valve's version of like a console PC hybrid, um, finally got a price tag. What does anybody did anybody hear about it? Does anybody want to know? Yes.

SPEAKER_03

I thought it was like a grand. I did not hear about it. I would like to guess what price it's coming out.

SPEAKER_02

Uh okay, I will allow you to guess.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, I have two guesses. I have a gut, and then I have a second guess that maybe my gut was a little wrong. Give me both. $1,200 for the first guess. That was my gut. Okay. And then I'm thinking more realistically, maybe like $800. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Can I guess?

SPEAKER_02

Yes, absolutely. Yes. Let's make this a little game.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, I am going to guess $1,201, Bob.

SPEAKER_02

Wow. Did she really pull a price from the city?

SPEAKER_03

She did, dude. But she buy a dollar. Oh my god. If it's above $1,200, I'm walking out of here.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. Uh Templeton. Templeton. Would you like to take a guess? I said a grand. A grand? Okay. Alright, alright. So here are the prices for the Steam Machine. Oh. That's right. Plural. Because we have technically four options, but there's two options as far as a Steam machine goes. There's a 512 gigabyte Steam machine, so that's how much memory is on the on the Steam itself, on the console PC hybrid. And then they have a two-terabyte, and then they have a two-terabyte uh Steam machine.

SPEAKER_03

That two terabyte's gonna be like two grand.

SPEAKER_02

So for the 512 gigabyte, now, mind you, this is without the controller. It's one thousand forty-nine dollars for a for the five hundred and twelve gigabytes. Isn't it weird how it's like almost right? For the two terabyte, it's one thousand three hundred and forty-nine dollars. That's without the controller.

SPEAKER_05

With isn't it weird how as much right with the controller?

SPEAKER_01

With the controller, because how are you gonna play the game?

SPEAKER_02

With the controller, one thousand one hundred and twenty-eight dollars for the 512 gigabytes.

SPEAKER_05

I I agree with miss with me seeks like what controller? What the fuck are you talking about?

SPEAKER_02

Two terabyte steam machine with the controller. 1428.

SPEAKER_01

How do it without a controller feels fucking crazy?

SPEAKER_02

What controller? Does it work? The controller that goes with the color connect? Um, now that I don't know. I haven't looked totally into it, but Valve does have its own controller that goes with the Steam machine. So I don't know if like any other controller is gonna work with it.

SPEAKER_03

Or could you mouse and key?

SPEAKER_02

I'm thinking it's gonna be more mouse and keyboard because again, it's more I if it feels more like a PC console hybrid.

SPEAKER_03

So it's probably it's probably they're probably offering it without a controller for people who know they're only going to mouse and key.

SPEAKER_05

Pirates are gonna have such a great year.

SPEAKER_03

But 90% of the consumers that purchase it will likely end up buying it with a controller. So that's why it doesn't matter.

SPEAKER_02

And also, pirates are gonna have such a great year, and yeah, especially the ones of Somalia. Um, but also I'm the captain, but fun fact the Steam Machine is actually less powerful than the PS5. So is the price worth it? Some people are Miss VC's like, fuck that shit. Some people are saying it's a good it's a good intro PC, but there are a lot of people arguing that you could find a better PC for a very similar price. Yes, Chris.

SPEAKER_03

The people that said that it's a good entry-level PC, those people would be wrong.

SPEAKER_02

Wait, you gotta do it right. You gotta do it right. Good Jeremy. Thank you. Wrong. Remixed it for you. Well yeah. So, Miss Mees, you obviously have a problem with the price of the steam machine.

SPEAKER_01

I got a problem with the price of a lot of things, if I'm being honest with you. And yeah, I would go on a trip with that. I would prioritize something completely different. I would absolutely not spend a thousand dollars on a machine today. Spending less than a stack.

SPEAKER_02

Not less than a stack. And that's before tax. That's before tax. Yeah. Yeah. No, I get it. I get it. I get it.

SPEAKER_05

But fuck every single bit of that.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. All of it. But for me, I'm just kind of like Top to bottom. I don't know. Like I the Steam Deck, I think, is gonna be a still a better option. You know, if you if you have a Steam Deck, don't worry about Steam machine.

SPEAKER_05

But because you can play everything. Correct. But but that's a lot of fucking money to spend. If you're gonna if you're not gonna use it a lot, you're wasting your your cash.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. I agree. I agree that it is I I feel like it's a waste of money. Though obviously there's an ass for every chair, and there are some people out there that truly believe that that price is a fair price for the console PC hybrid. I don't I don't know. I don't know. Not when not when you can get a PS5 for half that price. I I think that seems steep for me. I mean, for I don't know, but we'll see. Valve, I we'll see what Valve does. We'll

Red Ring Flashbacks And Overheating

SPEAKER_02

see how it works. Now I did just read um there was one person who was playing the Steam Machine and actually got what they're calling the red line of death after only 20 minutes of playing it.

SPEAKER_05

That that makes me want to kill myself.

SPEAKER_02

And there's a lot of people because Miss Me Seeks, there was a whole thing with the Xbox 360 where it would get the red ring of death. Yeah. Our sibling Yeti. He went through I remember that. I think I do remember that. You remember when he was always like, like, oh my Xbox, my 360 is literally it's the red ring of death. I gotta, I gotta get it fixed. I gotta send it out. I gotta get a new one, whatever. So they're they're like, there's a lot of people who remember those days, and they're like, hey, just wrap it in a towel, it'll be fine.

SPEAKER_03

So I I feel like Valve is just drill out, just drill out a couple holes and put some pennies on it. It'll be fine.

SPEAKER_02

On your $1,000 piece of hardware.

SPEAKER_03

I remember putting pennies on my heatsink on my 360 so it would stop overheating.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Yeah. Do you think do you think the same could could be done for the steam machine? Or we just you just it depends on what's happening.

SPEAKER_03

It depends on what on like is it just getting too hot? Uh, because I also had a 360 that was getting too hot. The main problem was it was overheating. But it was um it would overheat to the point that it melted solder from the power supply, yeah, which was what was throwing the red ring of death code.

SPEAKER_06

Yep.

SPEAKER_03

Um, so it depends on what is causing this red line. It's probably an overheat issue.

SPEAKER_05

I would I would assume it's either way, like that that's a lot of money to spend on something that isn't fucking doing what it's supposed to do.

SPEAKER_02

Well, it did what it was supposed to do for 20 minutes at least.

SPEAKER_05

Like I bought and Jeremy can like some men can even last that long. I put off buying a PS5 for our PS4, I'm sorry, for like so long. And the first one I didn't I bought, like immediately didn't work. It's like, oh, I'm overheating. I'm not gonna do what I'm supposed to do.

SPEAKER_03

Same, bro, same. I'm overheating, so I'm not gonna do what I'm supposed to do.

SPEAKER_02

Especially with this fucking weather out there, bro.

SPEAKER_05

There was like a lot of money that I spent that I didn't even want to spend. I can't last that long.

SPEAKER_00

I was I'm sorry.

SPEAKER_02

I didn't anyway. So

GTA 6 Preorder Sticker Shock

SPEAKER_02

tell us how you feel about the Steam Machine. Um, the other thing I want to mention is GTA 6 is now available for pre-order.

SPEAKER_05

So ta-da! I'm not gonna spend $800 on that goddamn game.

SPEAKER_02

Well, the price of it is like your normal, um, your average games. I think I think it's like $79.99. Yeah, that's $80.

SPEAKER_00

$800 or $80?

SPEAKER_02

Some, yes. Some?

SPEAKER_00

Bro!

SPEAKER_02

Wait, wait, wait. This V Seeks, you gotta do it right.

unknown

What?

SPEAKER_02

$80?

SPEAKER_03

Wait till you hear the deluxe edition price.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, yeah. If you pay for a deluxe edition, you can spend like uh I'm sure it's gonna be like $199. Most of the time they are. They're like $200.

SPEAKER_01

Jay, stop talking to my son about video games. Why? Stop it.

SPEAKER_02

It's an expensive hobby. See? An expensive hobby.

SPEAKER_03

You gotta get it.

SPEAKER_02

Drugs are cheaper.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Sure are. Dude, the Dare program is fucking rolling in its grain right now. Drugs are cheaper than games. Wait, what's happening?

SPEAKER_02

For the jokes, okay, for the jokes. Listen. Listen, he came to me and said he wants to develop games when he gets older. So if he gets into that, he'll be able to afford whatever the fuck he wants.

SPEAKER_01

That's why my babylon STEM program is. Exactly. Exactly.

SPEAKER_02

So yes, I will talk to him about games, about digigames, because he might tell him he has to earn his money about it. Yeah. Yeah. He might, he might, he might, you know, get really get get really good at it. You know what I mean? He might just be the next, I don't know, Hideo Kojima. He might be the next Hideo Kojima. We don't know.

SPEAKER_01

I don't know who that is. That just sounded like sounds.

SPEAKER_02

It was. You said words. You said words, didn't you? Yes, I did. Those were words.

SPEAKER_03

There's definitely sounds. Put together.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, put together. She said, I don't know what I don't know what the fuck that means.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, you had to write that down. Yeah, can you can you write that down, please?

SPEAKER_02

So anyway, um, let us know if you're excited about GTA 6. I I'm indifferent. I could care less. I'm not.

SPEAKER_03

Um I I think the last machine It's the deluxe edition steam machine.

SPEAKER_02

Comes with GTA 6 pre-installed.

SPEAKER_03

It never comes out.

SPEAKER_02

Sorry, we gotta push this back because we want perfection for our players. Anyway, anyway, let's stop. Okay, are we done? Are we all done picking on Valve and GTA?

SPEAKER_03

That was the last never Alright, alright, alright.

SPEAKER_02

So I'm glad everybody's doing well, right? And uh just let us know. Fire off in the comments, whatever. How you feel about the Steam Machine, how you feel about GTA 6. Let us know.

SPEAKER_05

GTA 6 is on the game rate system terrible um application. Yeah. Hell yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah. So anyway, because yeti isn't here, we have to do a Reddit roulette, and he doesn't have a cool question to ask us, because you know, it's just not here.

Reddit Roulette With A Twist

SPEAKER_02

So we're gonna do a Reddit roulette. Um I will need a number between one and five. Seven That's not between one and five.

SPEAKER_03

Almost had it.

SPEAKER_02

Proof that our that our education system has failed us.

SPEAKER_05

I went to public school.

SPEAKER_02

Two. Two I have it here. Fun? Yeah, mine stops. His keeps going. Okay. Alright. Am I the asshole for trying to steal her man? Probably. I mean, I would say so.

SPEAKER_00

A man?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, a man. You don't even have to steal those.

SPEAKER_03

They just give themselves away for you. Okay. Oh wow. Okay. Is this messy? Fuck it.

SPEAKER_02

No, it's it's it's something goofy. So I don't know if y'all wanna I don't know if y'all want to go with it. What was the next one? Roll it, roll it. You want to run with it? Yeah.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Here we are. Here we go. I know exactly how I'm gonna play this too. All right. Am I the asshole for trying to see?

SPEAKER_01

Pause.

SPEAKER_02

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Pause real quick. The backtrack to this is ACDC's dirty deeds done done dirt cheap. By the way.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

I thought that was important.

SPEAKER_02

Perfect. It sounds like Miss Me Seeks has a nice uh little uh uh soundtrack to her life right now. Hell yeah. Perfect music for the perfect time. So am I the asshole for trying to steal her man? Let's find out. A little over a year ago, I was taken in by my friend, female 30, because I became homeless. At first, her man and I didn't get along, which led to small fights between them because I was going through a rough time. I was messy and loud and admittedly wasn't a great roommate. At first, it was mostly her who was helping me settle in. I don't cook, so she would cook for us, and overall just help me live again. And as I lived with them, her man, Male, 30, and I began to warm up to each other. We have a lot in common, so I feel like it was bound to happen. She's not a hiker, so he and I would go hiking together. Uh we can we can hang out on the couch uh when she's not around, nagging about the messes we made. She was a health freak, so when she's not around, we share junk food and hit it from her. He understands my needs and wants in uh and wants in ways no one was able to before. He's become my favorite person. Recently I've realized I love him more than her. I would follow him to the ends of the earth if he allowed it. I hate it when they are sitting together, and I would try to sit right in between them. I want to be where he is at all times, and I get upset when they are together without me. She caught me laying on his lap and told him that I'm trying to steal him. He tried to laugh it off and push me off, which hurt my feelings. He doesn't know he doesn't know it, but I'm trying to steal him. I want to be with him and kiss him forever. So, Reddit, would I be an asshole if I love my humans man more than my human, despite everything she's done for me?

SPEAKER_05

That guy just wants some booty.

SPEAKER_00

Dirty teeth! Dunter Cape, that's what we're saying. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

He wanted some booty. So, how we feeling? What do y'all say?

SPEAKER_00

Grizz, you the trash bag.

SPEAKER_03

Wait, who's the trash bag?

SPEAKER_00

The the homeless bitch.

SPEAKER_01

Who's the trash bag? Honestly, so's the boyfriend for real.

SPEAKER_00

They're both bums. They're both bums.

SPEAKER_01

They're like, oh, she's nagging because she wants a clean house. Bum. Don't hike.

SPEAKER_03

I mean, that part that that that part is bum. Yeah. Bummy.

SPEAKER_01

Just so bummy. And like find somebody else to hike with, sis. You know how many other people like to hike?

SPEAKER_03

But it seemed like the boyfriend doesn't seem well, unless, unless. I don't know. That last sent or that one sentence where he like tried to laugh it off, seemed like is he unaware that this person's into him, or was he laughing out to like saying?

SPEAKER_05

No, no, no, no. He wanted some booty, daddy. He wanted some booty. He wanted some booty. Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Alright. So is that how everybody feels?

SPEAKER_03

I do think, yes, she's the asshole for trying to get in between like she's actively pursuing a man.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

She said it like in the Reddit post. I mean the easy thing.

SPEAKER_05

But in his in his perspective, the easy like block said is no.

SPEAKER_03

Is the Reddit poster an animal by chance?

SPEAKER_02

So do you want the update? BT dub. I am a one and a half year old pit bull.

SPEAKER_05

What? Come on.

SPEAKER_02

I think she deserves belly rubs, right?

SPEAKER_00

She's a kid girl. She's a good girl. No, she is the asshole.

unknown

Peak. Peak.

SPEAKER_03

Peak. I mean, saying getting in between my two favorite humans was a red heron for sure. Exactly.

SPEAKER_02

That's why I was like, I know exactly how I'm gonna play this. I'm gonna save that last portion. Yeah, yeah. I'm gonna pause for a dramatic effect. I'll give you.

SPEAKER_00

But if she was a real bitch.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, if she's a real bitch, that would have been a problem. Yeah, that would have been a problem. That would have absolutely been a problem. So that's why I was like, it's a goofy one. So I don't know if you guys want to do that. I like a goofy one. I mean, that's fair. Okay, all right, all right. So is that it? You don't want to do another one? No? No. Okay. All right, perfect. Big man.

SPEAKER_03

He is saying that he wants to fuck his dog.

SPEAKER_02

Tembleton after he heard the update.

unknown

What?

SPEAKER_02

A dog?

SPEAKER_01

Perfect.

SPEAKER_00

What do you mean it's a pit bull?

SPEAKER_06

Mr.

SPEAKER_00

Warrior. Mr. 305? What's he doing there? Mr. Senior Girl. So dead.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, this episode is just I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know if it's just if it's just late. So anyway.

SPEAKER_03

Hell yeah. We embrace weird.

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Absolutely. Because I feel like this is the culmination of like the weird days and weird weeks that everybody is.

SPEAKER_05

Oh shit.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, just just loaded into one episode. I feel like that's all that is. So um yeah, but fire off in the comments. Let us know. Do you think she's an asshole for trying to steal her man? That one and a half year old Pit bull. Do you think she's the asshole? Devil did. They had me in the first half.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, it's so funny. That might be my favorite bit of like brain rot material. Right. They had me in the first half. There's worse. There's far worse brain rot out there.

SPEAKER_02

You're absolutely right.

SPEAKER_03

I'm proud to have that one.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that's a good one. Alright, so there you go. There you have it. Anyway, um, I do have a question for you guys before we before we get into our topic. I feel like we're blazing through this episode for some reason. It's probably because probably because it's late, if I had to guess. But have you guys ever been so fucking scatterbrained that you can't focus on one singular episode and you just you just there, right? And you gotta get focused?

SPEAKER_05

Buddy every single fucking day.

SPEAKER_02

Every single day. I think I have a fix

SPEAKER_03

SPEAKER_02

I mean, I made the pew sounds, so we're both guilty. But it's a wonderful little mental performance shot that has these awesome nootropics in it that can get your brain on the right track. SPEAKER_01

Your mama maybe I tried to fight the last person who tried who tried to talk about my mama.

SPEAKER_02

Ooh, you know what she did?

SPEAKER_01

They said they were gonna call the cops.

SPEAKER_02

That was air is funny. It's actually funny. No, no, no, no. We're actually

Theme Parks Kick Off

SPEAKER_02

talking about theme parks.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, okay. Theme park.

SPEAKER_02

Theme park.

SPEAKER_05

That's way different.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it is it is way different. So I'm glad you've woken up and joined us, Templeton, and have caught up to the conversation. But theme parks! We love we love a good theme park, right? Like, we've all been to one. Have we all been to one? I'm assuming we've all been to one.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. Like, not all of us were rich.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_05

Have you been to one?

SPEAKER_02

I'm I guarantee he's been to King's Island.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, Coney Island. Okay, then you've been to one. Not Cody. I'm not like fucking that rich.

SPEAKER_02

So so the question was, have you been to a theme park?

SPEAKER_04

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. Then there we go. You are eligible to speak about this topic now. So theme parks. What do we love about them? Do we love do you love a good theme park? Kind of like um Six Flags. It's very themed toward Looney Tunes or anything that's really Acme or anything like that. Or like uh what's the other one? Knott's Berry Farm, where they really leaned into peanuts, Charlie Brown type stuff. Like that was really cool. Obviously, King's Island was is more, you know, whatever the fuck they got.

SPEAKER_01

Nickelodeon are they Nickelodeon now? I don't, you know, I don't know.

SPEAKER_03

Because I think it's owned by Cedar Fair.

SPEAKER_01

I was gonna say Cedar Point.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I know I know Cedar Point just bought just bought King's Island and or King's Island, yeah. And they're and they're they're supposedly did did they already make the Giga Coaster or not?

SPEAKER_05

I don't even know what that is, man.

SPEAKER_02

Well it's it's it's basically like any coaster at uh like Cedar Point is would be considered a Giga Coaster. Like um because they're so bad.

SPEAKER_01

I have such an opinion on this topic, by the way. Yeah, about the delineation of parks. I can't wait.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, because I know I know Miss Meese, she just went to Disney World. Hence the Disney World.

SPEAKER_01

Like twice in the past like two months.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, so I'm gonna go back.

SPEAKER_01

I miss it so much.

SPEAKER_02

Isn't that crazy?

SPEAKER_01

I'm in a princess, I'm in a Rapunzel baseball jersey.

SPEAKER_02

Hell yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And my Disney Heroes Disney. Ho ho! Hey, Mini!

SPEAKER_02

So anyway, I'm I'm not gonna I'm not gonna do impressions today. But theme parks, do we have do we have one that's a favorite or of of anybody? Did anybody have one that they can remember that they love the most? SeaWorld? No, okay. So would SeaWorld be considered I mean I guess it can be a theme part. Yeah, yeah, actually.

SPEAKER_01

Did you know the Yin Yang twins have been performing over at SeaWorld?

SPEAKER_02

No. What have they been performing at SeaWorld?

SPEAKER_01

You know what they've been performing at SeaWorld.

SPEAKER_02

Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

unknown

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_02

The Yin Yang twins. 369.

SPEAKER_01

No, I couldn't even make it up. No. Couldn't make it up.

SPEAKER_02

No.

SPEAKER_01

The crowds going wild. Bunch of millennial moms and dads swinging their babies in the air. It's crazy.

SPEAKER_02

As they as they crazy action.

SPEAKER_01

I'm not even kidding. I'm not even kidding.

SPEAKER_02

Orcas are swimming behind them. They're like, From the window for the wild orcas are looking to eat them.

SPEAKER_03

I love orcas, but they they should not be in a cage.

SPEAKER_01

No, I feel bad for whales because they just drown.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Yeah, that's a yeah, that's old age. Yeah, due to old age. Uh-huh. Yeah. Can you imagine just like like evolution was like, hey, bro, I can give you these gills so you can continue living under the water with no like repercussions. They're like, no, I'm good. I like my lungs. I like my lungs. Yeah. The whale's pissed.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, it is. It needs air, but it can dive so deep.

SPEAKER_02

Yep. It's wild. I mean, a lot uh I a lot of those creatures that are in that like in the water like that that still have lungs, like whales, dolphins. It's it's actually crazy. Even sea turtles, like, are we serious? Like, how are you turtles are crazy? How do you do that? So they live forever. Yeah, they do, bro. I'm 100 years old. I'm 150 years old, bro! You so totally rock, squirt. Anyway, we're getting off onto a whole another topic. Today we're talking about theme parks, stuff with rides, and I guess whales. Because I would have never considered SeaWorld a theme park, but the theme is the sea, the theme is the sea.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that's the thing. And they have rides at SeaWorld.

SPEAKER_02

They did have rides at yes, they did have rides at SeaWorld. So I guess it could be because it's not technically an aquarium, right? It's an attraction.

SPEAKER_01

Like animal kingdom. It's like mostly a zoo, but with a little bit of rides.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I got it. It's a little razzle dazzle. Yeah, well look, they judged it up with some rides. Yeah, yeah. That's what they did. Yeah, I think.

SPEAKER_03

It's an insurance policy. Roller coaster.

SPEAKER_02

Hey, can we make this roller coaster dive in with the orcas? Everybody just gotta hold their breath for like half a second.

SPEAKER_03

No, but what we can do is we can create a tunnel that goes underneath the water. It's completely safe. Nobody will get decapitated, I promise.

SPEAKER_02

It's totally safe.

SPEAKER_03

Totally safe.

SPEAKER_02

We're gonna send this ride under. What we're gonna do is we're gonna build a ballroom and we're gonna make it totally safe. It's totally gonna be safe. So anyway,

Six Flags Memories And Starter Coasters

SPEAKER_02

um, I remember as a kid, and I'm sure Miss Meese remembers too, when we went to Six Flags. We went to Six Flags often.

SPEAKER_01

We did.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, and it was all the time. It was a it was a good, it was always a good time. And I remember like gradually, you know, graduating on each ride. You know, because you know, when you're when you're when you're a kid, you kinda like, you know, you're only you're only so tall, you can get on the ride, whatever, but then when you're tall enough, you're like, ah, I don't know, I don't know, like I'm not super daring. But then you try it, and then you're like, yeah, I kind of want to do something else. Like you go with the you go with like like Colossus was a good starter coaster, right? Like you could got the That was my first one. Yeah, so Colossus was Colossus. Yeah, it was a good starter coaster. Like it didn't have any loops or any crazy like you got to experience what a roller coaster was about. Get to throw your hands in the air like you just don't care. And then they and then we had the one, um oh my god, I don't remember which one it was, but it had the one loop. It had the one loop, and so it was kind of like that was the next step, and then it was like after that, Viper, which had like it like that that ride was fucking nuts because it's like the first drop, I mean you are just looking right at the ground and you're just off to the races, and there's like three loops, then you're doing some corkscrews, and then just fucking hitting some G's every fucking where you go, and it's like what a time that was. Does anybody have anything like from their childhood they remember always going to a theme park? Or just been to the theme park that they remember that stuck out to them?

SPEAKER_03

Um I mean shit, for the longest time I went to King's Island probably every summer from like probably from like 12 or 13 to 17.

SPEAKER_02

Oh wow.

SPEAKER_03

I feel like I feel like I got a gold pass like every single year because it was like an easy place for my parents to just dump me off at. Makes sense, you know, and then by the time I started driving, like when I got my license at 17, I and I had my own job, I just kept buying like I I was then buying my own gold pass, and it's like free parking, and you get discount on drinks and sodas and food. So it was kind of it made sense, like for that to be a thing to do in the summer. Um I feel like though my favorite was probably Cedar Point for a while. I did enjoy Cedar Point's rides, but Kings Island I had easier access to, so it feels like a favorite by bias.

SPEAKER_02

Well, much it was it's much closer than Cedar Point, that's for damn sure. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, so the the convenience for that I can I can imagine one out mostly.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. I I yeah, and like Kings Island had some good rides over the years. I haven't been there, I haven't been there in a few years. Uh fuck, I think the last time I went was probably five or six years ago.

SPEAKER_02

Was Firehawk was Firehawk still a thing?

SPEAKER_03

Is Firehawk still there? It just I was gonna say. Like wait, what's over there now? Oh my god. Um or is it that Banshee ride? Where's the Banshee ride?

SPEAKER_02

Uh I know a couple have came and went. Um, like I said, I know Firehawk went went. I'm trying to remember what the fuck.

SPEAKER_03

Man, there is something back there though.

SPEAKER_02

I know they still have like Flight of Fear or whatever the fuck it's called.

SPEAKER_03

Um, really?

SPEAKER_02

Hence the name Flight of Fear.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Well, they really dialed up that alien shit. And then after they traveled the park, it just became like it was aliens, but they made it real lazy.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

It used to be so dark back there.

SPEAKER_02

No, you're not wrong. You're not wrong.

SPEAKER_03

And like the ride itself used to be like pitch fucking black.

SPEAKER_02

Yes. I do I do remember being on that, and it was like it was constantly hard to see while you stand in the line. Uh-huh. And you they just made it super dark for no reason whatsoever. Now it worked when you got on the ride. Like, for sure. When you got on the ride, it it like the atmosphere, the ambiance, and just going into the pitch black unknown type deal. That that worked for the ride. Like it was it was pretty exhilarating, but for the most part, it was like, can you get some more lights here?

SPEAKER_03

Wow, can we get some emergency striping?

SPEAKER_02

Shine a light on these aliens or something. I think they uh what was it? I I think they had a back to the future ride or something like that. I don't remember what it was called. Switchback, maybe, maybe that's what it was called. It used to be. And it was just like it would beat people up, and I think they tore that down like a long time ago. Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Man, the beast roller coaster beat me up. And Son of Beast. One to punched, beat me up.

SPEAKER_02

Son of Beast got which one got taken down? Son of Beast or the Beast? Son of Beast.

SPEAKER_01

Son of Beast gave me whiplash, like legitimately ended up with like emergency services. Sheesh. I couldn't even make that up. But that's it was a lot of complaints. They like got sued over that. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Well, they had a serious injury. Uh she got whiplash. I mean, that is a serious injury, but I'm saying I'm saying like no, I'm just saying that tracks.

SPEAKER_01

I'm not saying me. I'm just saying that tracks. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah. The ride. So I think part of the problem was it was a wooden roller coaster with a metal loop.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

So the tracks, the tracks always had complications because it's just two different systems trying to blend into one. And uh what they should have done is built it with like the metal track and then just had like the wooden roller coaster facade for safety. But they wanted to be the first wooden roller coaster with a fucking loop in it, and yeah, people got hurt. The r the one of the trains got like stuck on the loop and it like jerked a lot of people, and people went to the hospital.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that seems that seems like a true ride. Yeah, that's true.

SPEAKER_03

I do remember liking that ride though. Like when it worked, it worked. It was really good. It was fucking fast as shit, too. Like 75 miles an hour or something.

SPEAKER_02

As as they're as you're getting off the ride, they're like, and here's your free neck brace. Here's your free neck brace. Put some ice on it, it'll be okay. Here's your free neck brace.

SPEAKER_03

I don't think I can ride the beast anymore. One, I think I'm like too tall, but uh two, I think that it wrecks your body. Yeah. Like the beast is such a rough ride now.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so I don't like the thrill parks, adventure parks. That's not me. You know, theme parks can get behind. This conversation, every single experience at King's Island has made me want to die.

SPEAKER_03

That's so fair. Some rides, some rides are actually not like they feel like they're not safe at all. And I'm like, how did this pass?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, you'd be surprised if I went on Diamondback.

SPEAKER_02

I Diamond Pack was the other one that I was thinking of. I hated Diamond Back.

SPEAKER_03

That one, I think that ride came out in 2009. That was my senior year of high school. I wrote that ride so many times.

SPEAKER_02

So why didn't you like why don't why don't you like Diamondback Miz Me scenes?

SPEAKER_01

Okay, uh, it's so fucking fast. Um I just remember screaming the entire time, just keeping my eyes closed and screaming the entire time.

SPEAKER_02

You mean the giant roller coaster is working as advertised, and that's why you hate roller coasters so much.

SPEAKER_01

But my toxic trait is I always go on them, and I'm like, well, maybe I don't maybe I hate them less, but then I just keep hating them.

Thrill Parks Versus Theme Parks

SPEAKER_02

You just keep hating them. Yeah, it you know what it is? It's the curiosity. You're like, I wonder if I could do this one, and then you do it and you're like, I immediately regret my decision after the first drop.

SPEAKER_01

And here's the thing that's why I think there's a big difference between like a thrill adventure park and a theme park. Because I was at Disney and there's no ride that is like crazy insane, really. Like they're fun and they like it's just a different type of ride. They're not like trying to make you shit your pants.

SPEAKER_02

As opposed to Cedar Point that literally has um which one is it?

SPEAKER_01

It's the uh like Trigger Coaster.

SPEAKER_02

The the racer or whatever it is, the the one that top dragster. That one shoots you from like zero to zero to like 100 in like 60 seconds. Yeah, yeah, 120 in like 60 seconds. Now, the fun part about that ride is it because it it'll shoot you off, goes straight up, it'll do a little bit of you'll do like a little bit of a turn, and then you'll come straight back down. So you just kind of do a whole U and you come straight down to the ground. And the fun fact about that ride is it'll shoot you up, and if you don't make it, because sometimes it won't make it around the cur around the bend, you won't make it to the top, it'll come back down and they'll have to shoot you back up.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I think it's a weight weight distribution thing. So they have to like I think they charge it up on the second.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah, yeah. To get it top head to get the front heavy enough to.

SPEAKER_01

I would never go on that ride because I would be in the front.

SPEAKER_02

It was so not a fun ride. Yes, top, top, top straxter is one of the best rides I've ever been on.

SPEAKER_03

420 feet in the air, 120 miles.

SPEAKER_02

What is wrong with you too? It's crazy.

SPEAKER_03

It's nuts. Have you have you done the other one? Oh, oh, King's Island has they do have that uh the Giga Coaster. That's what I it's called Orion.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, that's the one. Yeah, yeah. I have not been there since they opened it.

SPEAKER_03

I think it's back there where Firehawk is.

SPEAKER_02

Really? So so it probably took the place of where where Firehawk fire because Firehawk got.

SPEAKER_03

I don't think I've ridden Orion yet.

SPEAKER_02

See, I need I don't believe I have. That would be the only reason I go to King's Island. Yeah, I think the only time we ever go to Kings Island is at water park. But I uh just to that's fair. Yeah, just to continue the conversation with Miss Meese here, that's where you're you're not wrong because Disney World has been around for a long time. I know it, I I don't know how many rides it has. I've not been. I'm assuming it's got plenty to choose from, but it does have like it has all these subsets of like you got Harry Potter, you got Mario World, you got all these things in in Disney World, as opposed to, and I'm just gonna use Cedar Point because honestly, even Six Flags, really, because let's be real here, Batman the Ride, that's the most G's I've ever taken in my life, like ever. And like it's it's nutso. So it's like I can see the difference between a thrill, uh thrill park and a theme park, you know, just that amusement park type thing.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

So our Disney expert, Miss Meese. If you would like to give us shed some light on what what's Disney World like?

Disney World Details And Tactics

SPEAKER_02

What's the what's what's the vibe?

SPEAKER_01

The most magical fucking place on earth.

SPEAKER_02

And they mean it, like that's that's true.

SPEAKER_01

And they mean it. And they mean it. Oh my god, I have fallen in absolute love. And like we went to Disneyland when we were younger, but like young, and like it's not a memorable place for me. You know, our relationship with Six Flags. Most of what I remember is between SeaWorld and Six Flags, where lady like, you know, so Disney World. I first experienced Animal Kingdom, and there's like four parks down there that make up like Disney World, right? So you have the Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Magic Kingdom, which Magic Kingdom is like the coup de gras of all things Disney. It's fantastic. But Animal Kingdom is so cool. I'm an obsession with zoos right now. I love zoos, and like it's a super chill park, and they have some rides. And when I'm this ride called Mount Everest, and it like tells the story of a Yeti and Ode to Yeti, you know. Um and then you go all the way up to the top of the mountain and then you go backwards, and then it's such a blast. Like it's not that's a good ride. It's such a good ride, like it's not super fast, like, but it's fun. Like, and I absolutely love that. That was like the first the first trip there. We went on a safari.

SPEAKER_02

That's pretty cool.

SPEAKER_01

A draft pass in front of our little van that we were in.

SPEAKER_02

That's pretty cool.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it was so much fun. And then we went to Magic Kingdom like the month the next month. And boy oh boy, is that magical? They have a parade, and it's just a it's like an immersive experience, and I think that's what I really like about like a theme park is even when I'm not on a ride, because I'm not a big ride girly, I get motion sick, like I fight for my life.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

If it's just like ride space and just hold stuff, but like it's good and it's a whole immersive experience, and I miss Disney so much, and I can't wait to go back. But you spend like $800 a day.

SPEAKER_02

It's expensive, it's a very expensive. Yeah, that's that's all I've ever heard.

SPEAKER_03

Would you like to know a fun fact about Magic Kingdom?

SPEAKER_01

Obviously. I absolutely do.

SPEAKER_03

Magic Kingdom is a no-fly zone because Walt didn't want people to get taken out of the fact that they're in a fantasy land. No, no. So there's no airplanes that are allowed to fly over Magic Kingdom.

SPEAKER_01

That is unsurprising, fascinating. That was he thought of everything. There's so much detail when you go through the parks, like they pump smell everything.

SPEAKER_03

They pump smell into the streets of Magic Kingdom, the streets of Magic Kingdom. So when you walk past the shops and it's a candy shop, they have like smells that are like pumped out to like draw people in. It's not necessarily there's really candy in there, but they artificially pump smells out there.

SPEAKER_01

They entice you.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, wow. It's like it's like capitalism at its at its finest. Like more, yeah, at its more magical. Yeah. Yeah, because it's pretty it's pretty invasive, but you sign up for that invasion by buying the ticket. Yep.

SPEAKER_01

Literally, you go in the park now and you have to scan your fingerprint to get your ticket.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, they don't do the wristbands no more.

SPEAKER_01

It's the they have balls and it's a fingerprint. They got balls. They're like little orbs. And they're like putting it.

SPEAKER_03

I miss the wristband, dude. I got a dope wristband from when I went. It's a little Spider-Man wristband. Oh, that's it.

SPEAKER_01

So they still have wristbands, so you can still you can still use that. I don't know if okay, so you scan your your phone on like you do that and you do a fingerprint. But that wristband, you can still use it like at the shops, like with the photographers. Like, you can still use that. That's it. But it's like 50 bucks.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. I want to go back to Hollywood Studios so I can see Star Wars Land.

unknown

Oh.

SPEAKER_03

Actually, I'll just do Star Wars here in Disneyland, like just south of Disney.

SPEAKER_01

That's the one I haven't been to.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I want to because like when when I went when I went in 2019, I was 29, it was my 29th birthday. Um they were building the Star Wars stuff. Like the the Millennium Falcon wasn't finished yet. Uh, but they had some of Star Wars there. Yeah. You you couldn't like build the lightsaber or none of that. Uh, but they did have a couple experiences, but it wasn't fully finished, and they they finished like literally the month after I went, uh or some shit.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Gosh, it's so magical. The timing. See, I I would like to take a trip to Disney World at least once, just experience it, you know, just to get the experience.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. I'm gonna do Disneyland soon, I think. Maybe in a couple years.

SPEAKER_02

It it's at least worth it. You know, it's a it's at least worth one trip so you can so you can get uh get an idea of what it's like.

SPEAKER_03

Um they have like a Marvel thing too.

SPEAKER_02

They do, because I can't I keep forgetting that Mar uh Disney owns Marvel, and I I want to save the other thing that they that they own for later because um I kinda wanna I kinda wanna see this theme park be made, but is Templeton with us?

SPEAKER_03

Templeton, is you with us?

SPEAKER_02

Templeton in the room. Hello. Templeton. How pick up your phone? If you're talking, your mic is muted. I don't know. Okay, well I wanted to see if he had recently been to uh King's Island and see if he had a favorite coaster that he wanted to that he wrote or anything like that. So anyway, um hopefully he's okay. Do we have a theme park that we're not a fan of? Is it has there ever been one you've been to that you're like eh, I could I could go without this?

SPEAKER_01

King's Island.

SPEAKER_03

That's so funny.

SPEAKER_01

Like I have not been up to King's Island in 12 years. In 12 years. I and the only reason I went then was for my ex-husband's family's picnic. Yeah, and I broke my leg. Oh. So you remember that? Yeah, you came home and I was like bleeding, like it was my leg was like mangled.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that's right. That was that was pretty fucking awful. You know, I'm I'm I'm not gonna lie, like King's Island. I I that's why I said like the only time I ever go there anymore is for like water park, and I haven't been there in fucking years, dude. But any time we would go would just be to go simply for the water park in my adult years.

SPEAKER_01

Teenage. We did the same thing over. Like, I feel like we road rides, but it was uh not without a water park score.

SPEAKER_02

Correct, correct. Like I I feel like we focused a lot on the water park because I mean the only time we ever went, obviously, was in during the summer. Um it just be hot, you know, and stand in those lines and shit. It was just it was god awful. So it's like, why waste your time standing in line frying when we can just you know go over here and you know jump into the wave pool and and and cool off and have a good time. That wave pool of King's Island used to be so much fun. It was so much fun. And then of course and then of course they had um now it's a different it's a different kind of park, but they had the beach across the uh across the uh highway, which is closed down.

SPEAKER_00

The beach raised us. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

It honestly did come to the beach, come to the beach. So it's like But yeah, the King's Island, it's just for me, honestly, I could take it or leave it. Now, now with um the the with uh uh who you call it Cedar um Cedar buying them, if they begin to add more coasters, obviously I'll probably be too old for them by that time, but who knows? But just I could see them growing, you know what I mean? Like I could see Cedar adding some decent rides because after being to Cedar Point, it was like you almost feel like you know, you feel let down when you go to King's Island.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I'm only holding jackets and purses when I go to King's Island at this point, so I just need my funnel cake and my like blue ice cream, and I'm Yeah, and you're good to go.

SPEAKER_02

You're good to go. Because Grizz, I mean, you've been to both Cedar Point and Kings Island, so it's like which rides would you think are more appealing or more thrilling to be on? Those at Cedar Point or those at Kings Island? Kings Island has some good staples, but like Cedar Point, you look any direction and they got so man, this is tough because I feel like the things that I like to do, King's Island kind of fulfills that.

SPEAKER_03

Cause like I like the food options, you know. I mean, some of it's overpriced. Like, I wouldn't do Skyline in there. Oh, no, no. Unless like I was doing a whole day, and you know, like how kind of how you treat food at Disney, right? You don't really want to eat at Disney unless you unless you're planning for like, okay, this day I have to eat at Disney.

SPEAKER_01

Disney food is actually low-key cheap for theme park food. You can get most things at Disney for like six dollars or less for like each item.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, but it's like snacks though, like the pretzel or the chips or whatever.

SPEAKER_01

But like I got burger and fries for $12.

SPEAKER_03

Hey, that's not bad. That's what I'm saying.

SPEAKER_01

Like, they're free, and I think that's deliberate though, but they also allow you to bring in your own food.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, that that might be new. That's a game changer. Yeah, I mean, like, because when I was growing up and we would do King's Island and we spent the whole day there, we would like bring a fucking cooler and picnic.

SPEAKER_01

I feel like King's Island's food is more expensive though. And like I said, that could be a Disney tactic. Like, you're already paying this much, like, let's at least make it more affordable in the park.

SPEAKER_03

That would be nice, but I just remember when I went, man, we spent probably six hundred dollars on food in five days. Oh shit. Yeah, dude. It was crazy. Can we just stay at like the no, no, no, at Disney.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_03

With two people. Like we sp I remember the total price tag, I think, was over two grand for sure. Jeez. They might have for granted, we did stay at like a resort, like one of the cheaper resorts. Uh, we opted out of the meal plan and just bought food as we went, and I feel like we should have got the meal plan, to be honest.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so that could be a little bit different because like in the parks and on their resort is different. So it literally says like quick service meals are $15 to $20 per adult, and snacks are six to ten dollars.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And so like that's what you're getting in the park, is those quick service meals and snacks. So you're paying like $15 max for an item, really. Like, you're not paying that much when you're in the park. Right. But if you're at their resort sitting down, you're paying. Yeah, there are.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, like some I remember the because they had like a cafeteria cafe situation at the resort we stayed at. That wasn't that badly priced. Um, but we did we did do like one of the dinner in a show things on one of the other resorts, and that was pretty expensive. Yeah, you can spend money on it. Yeah, you're gonna spend money on it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah. So maybe, maybe, maybe, Grizz, next time you go. You know what I mean? Maybe next time. Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

I mean, the next time I go, I'm gonna go by myself, and I'm probably just gonna take drugs and not eat anything.

SPEAKER_01

No, here's the thing the next time you go, go with me, and we can split food.

SPEAKER_03

I just I am I am a slut for spitting.

SPEAKER_02

My fucking guy. I'm gonna just do drugs and not eat. I'm gonna just do drugs and not eat.

SPEAKER_03

I'm just being honest.

SPEAKER_02

No, that's that's fair.

SPEAKER_03

I mean, that's also not like a terrible idea, if I'm being honest with you.

SPEAKER_02

Not at all.

SPEAKER_03

I'd I as long as I got my iced coffee in the morning, you good, girl. I've been turned on to this iced coffee thing. Don't get me wrong, I like I still like a hot latte or a hot black coffee.

SPEAKER_01

But no, welcome to the iced coffee side things. It's so much better over here.

SPEAKER_03

Can I share a recipe that was shared with me by a friend of mine that I swear by? It's so it's just cold brew with ice, splash of half and half, and splash of maple syrup. That shit will change your life.

SPEAKER_02

It actually sounds good. I'm not even a coffee drinker.

SPEAKER_03

Like, I'm telling you right now, I still fuck with maple, like that mate, the maple syrup is just try it. You could do honey if you don't want maple syrup.

SPEAKER_01

No, from a mouse perspective, I'm fine with it. But like maple syrup is just so troublesome. Just try it.

SPEAKER_03

Nah, just try it. Try it.

unknown

Just try it.

SPEAKER_03

I promise. You're like Okay. You're you're gonna like the way it tastes, I guarantee.

SPEAKER_06

Jesus Christ.

SPEAKER_03

You know what? You sold me there, buddy.

SPEAKER_01

Jesus Christ.

SPEAKER_02

She said, okay, no notes, I'm gonna go for it. You son of a bitch, I'm in. Son of a bitch, I'm in. That's actually wild. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So anyway, I mean uh Chris, did you did you say you had one that had a theme park you weren't sure? That you could go without.

SPEAKER_03

That I wasn't that I could go without? Yeah. Um can I can I say SeaWorld? You can.

SPEAKER_01

Have you ever been?

SPEAKER_02

Listen, he you know what he's gonna say? Only because he wants the orcas to be free. That's the only reason that's the only reason why he can do without it. Free the orcas, my guy.

SPEAKER_00

I'm so happy we're back to this.

SPEAKER_02

Free the big fish. Like, we don't they what are we doing? What are we doing? What are we doing? What are we doing? But that's actually kind of funny.

SPEAKER_01

She said, King's Island, and he's like, see, we're all yeah, that was just revenge, I think. Did you just like how chair?

SPEAKER_03

Did I just did I just hold a grudge?

SPEAKER_02

Did you just hold a grudge?

SPEAKER_01

Yes. And we saw it in real time.

SPEAKER_02

In real time. In real time. Can I say C World? She's like, yeah, you're right. This is not the grudge I'm looking for. Grid's like, holy shit, it worked. Oh shit.

SPEAKER_01

No, but there is I have to come back to this.

SeaWorld Concerts Get Unhinged

SPEAKER_01

Hold please.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

We are not leaving SeaWorld. We are not leaving Sea World.

SPEAKER_02

Oh shit, we're not leaving SeaWorld. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Oh shit. Hold on.

SPEAKER_06

Oh shit.

SPEAKER_01

This is a baby a woman with her baby.

SPEAKER_03

What?

SPEAKER_02

What is happening? Is she twerking? Yes. At SeaWorld? Why?

SPEAKER_00

Because the yin yang twins are there.

SPEAKER_02

No. No. No.

SPEAKER_03

Why is she twerking with her baby?

SPEAKER_02

Bro, no. No. And they're on the whole car. No. At SeaWorld? At SeaWorld. Damn. Who who okayed this? What? Seriously.

SPEAKER_01

I'm sorry. That was so important for me to say that.

SPEAKER_02

They have to be hurting.

SPEAKER_01

I told you they are literally like millennial parents swinging their fucking babies around.

SPEAKER_02

Damn.

SPEAKER_01

Sea World! The orchids are the least of your concern.

SPEAKER_02

They have to be hurting. Either SeaWorld's hurting or the Yin Yang twins are hurting. One of the two. Could be a combination of both. But what are we what CWR? What are you doing?

SPEAKER_03

With their children is crazy.

SPEAKER_01

Sea World really lost the plot.

SPEAKER_02

Literally, baby hanging in front of her, and she just going to town. Going to town.

SPEAKER_01

I wasn't kidding. I was not kidding when I opened that up. I don't know.

SPEAKER_02

I don't know how I feel about that.

SPEAKER_03

Like you know what? You know what I say to that? What's that? We only live once. Y'all you may as well twerk twerk at SeaWorld with your child.

SPEAKER_02

Put it on the twerk, twerk, twerk, twerk, twerk, twerk.

SPEAKER_01

She was alright.

SPEAKER_03

Best case scenario, that kid lives. Worst case scenario, you get to tell a story. I mean, yeah, I guess.

SPEAKER_01

Because she actually she had her legs up in that seat, actually. When you go back to that, she was suspended in the air with a baby on her back.

SPEAKER_03

That is crazy, right?

SPEAKER_01

She would have fallen, that would have been catastrophic.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, because that's but hang on. Did she fall? No, she didn't.

SPEAKER_01

She's she's still living.

SPEAKER_02

She's still living.

SPEAKER_01

That was a risk assessment for her.

SPEAKER_02

But that's fucking crazy, dude. Like Yin Yang twins performing at SeaWorld. Brother, at SeaWorld. Yeah, who is her opener?

SPEAKER_01

Free Willy, I guess. I don't know.

SPEAKER_02

That's just like escaping. Jumping over the crowd. Alright, now that our orca's gone, put your hands on the knees and hit a boat on a thud. Oh, nah, nah. That's that's crazy. That's crazy. I I couldn't imagine the yin-yang twins performing. Nah, I can't. I can't. I can't do it.

SPEAKER_03

You don't have to imagine.

SPEAKER_02

No, listen, for my own sanity, for my own sanity. I don't want to see it. I don't, I don't wanna see it. I don't wanna see it.

SPEAKER_03

Take that shit

Dream Theme Parks We Want

SPEAKER_03

out of here.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, get that shit out of here. So anyway, um I was thinking about like a theme park y'all would like to see come to life, right? So I keep forgetting that Disney owns a lot of things now. One of them being Predator, right? The Predator franchise. I see where you're headed. You see where I'm headed.

SPEAKER_01

That seems scary.

SPEAKER_02

You see where I'm headed? Like, could you imagine making like a chopper? Bro, and have Arnold show up? Like, are we serious? Fuck a ginyang twin. Like, give me Arnold Schwarzenegger. Give it a chopper. Do it now. Do it now. Like, like, like a predator theme park, though, like that would be you know, like it, like it would just have like this jungle entrance, right? And and it would just be like you can even call it Badlands, you know what I'm saying? Badlands, yeah, right? Because Predator Badlands, and then like have the dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun playing as you walk.

SPEAKER_03

They own alien now, they do, yes.

SPEAKER_02

They do that. They they do call it alien, they could do it AVP.

SPEAKER_01

Actually, it seems really cool.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, you know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_03

I'm really warming up to the there's a lot, there's a lot they could do in, and they're choosing to not, and I take that person.

SPEAKER_01

It's coming, it's coming. It's on their doctor. That's not if they're gonna monetize it, they can't. If they can, they will.

SPEAKER_02

I'm hoping they're listening. I'm hoping they're listening, and they're lucky. They're always listening. It's actually not a bad fucking idea. Because, like, imagine the Halloweens you could have at the Badlands, at Badlands in a Disney.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, plot twist that's coming Halloween 2027.

SPEAKER_02

Are you fucking kidding me? Listen, if that happens, I'm gonna be like, Disney's fucking listening.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, right. And I'll take two percent.

SPEAKER_02

That's right. I'm not greedy. 2% is fine.

SPEAKER_03

2% just fine. Just like I like my milk. I'm kidding.

SPEAKER_02

I like whole milk. Just I like my milk, skimmed off the top. No, I'm just kidding. Anyway. Anyway, but no, I feel like that would be that that'd be a good time. Like you could you could have like almost like uh you could also do like one of those um uh uh 4D rides that they do a lot of the times with like Marvel and all that kind of stuff.

SPEAKER_03

You can do like Well Disney has those rides where you like you're like strapped in and then you got like the fucking and it they pump like smells in, so it smells like you're flying over a tree, right?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it's very immersive. Could you imagine being like covered in fake blood as you leave? It's just like sticky red corn syrup, and you're just like that would actually be wild.

SPEAKER_03

They would never do that, but that would be wild.

SPEAKER_02

That would be wild. Yeah, that wouldn't happen because no way, no shot.

SPEAKER_03

Unless, unless they got everybody to wear like uh what you wear when you visit Niagara Falls. Yeah, poncho. That's the word I'm looking for.

SPEAKER_01

He couldn't think of poncho. He said what you wear when you go to Niagara Falls.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, so we gotta No, no, I mean it's late for us.

SPEAKER_01

We just gotta go back three hours. We gotta go back back into time, okay.

SPEAKER_02

Uh it's okay, Gris.

SPEAKER_03

If everyone wore a poncho, then maybe they would do it.

SPEAKER_02

Everybody wore a pon. Listen, you have to wear the poncho. Why? Because you're gonna have a lot of like red corn stuff. You're gonna wanna wear the poncho. You're gonna wanna wear it. You're gonna wanna wear the poncho. But could you imagine how dope that would be? Like, I feel like that would be a fun, fun fucking theme park. I agree. You know what I mean? And even do like a uh, because imagine doing like a corn maze almost, but like a uh jungle walk in the Badlands with Predator, and like every now and then you could see like the three dots coming on you, and you're like, holy shit. You feel like you're being stalked by Predator the entire time.

SPEAKER_03

That would actually be awesome. People with anxiety would hate it.

SPEAKER_01

Oh yeah. No, I think we've arrived at why I hate those types of rides.

SPEAKER_02

No, I get it, but it wouldn't even be a ride, you'd just be walking through it. It'd be chill, but not chill, right? Because again, it's a corn maze almost. It'd be more like a jungle walk. Like I said, you'd have like this.

SPEAKER_03

And I think that you'd have to have situations where people could get got. Right. Like some people don't make it out. Yeah, they get got.

SPEAKER_02

Like, I would love that. I think that would be really cool. Why would you put that in there?

SPEAKER_01

Like, you could not.

SPEAKER_03

Well, I mean, not for real, not for real, for real. Like like the predator gets you, and then you get like you go through the city.

SPEAKER_01

Did you say not for real for real? Yeah, like Disney's not really gonna kill me. Yeah, like yeah, they're not gonna they're not gonna take it down. Yeah, I got that far. They're not gonna take out that far in the concept.

SPEAKER_02

They're not gonna take you to the Disney dungeon and off you. Like, what are we talking about?

SPEAKER_03

They're not gonna take you to like Trump's house or anything.

SPEAKER_02

Damn, damn.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, sorry.

SPEAKER_02

Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.

unknown

What?

SPEAKER_02

Trump's house?

SPEAKER_01

Well, he's supposed to get like a five-hour speech in a hundred-degree heat tomorrow, something like that. Oh well, she said fingers crossed.

SPEAKER_02

No, but I like I see where you're going with it, Grizz. Like they get they get taken off, they get taken off the path, and then they have to take a different path, you know what I'm saying? Like that would be I think that'd be pretty cool. The afterlife path. Yeah, the afterlife path. This is what it looks like after the predator gets you.

SPEAKER_01

Like, can you please go toward the light? Can you please go towards the light down? There's the light down there.

SPEAKER_02

You have to wait for your party right here. Yo, could you imagine? Like, if you get caught, you have to be taken off the trail and you gotta wait for your party at the end. Damn. And then you're like, damn, now I gotta go back through if you want to. Like, if you want to see if you can make it.

SPEAKER_03

If you think you can make it, yeah, if you think you can make it. But you already got once.

SPEAKER_02

I think we're on to something here.

SPEAKER_01

I have to pivot at Disney.

SPEAKER_02

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Haunted Mansion.

SPEAKER_02

They snatched people.

SPEAKER_01

I just went. I went with I went with 10 people. And only nine made it out. The other half wanted to go on Haunted Mansion. Half of the group got fucking stuck on the ride and they had to shut it down.

SPEAKER_02

They got caught. See, that was that was that was the haunted mansion claiming. Claiming more souls.

SPEAKER_01

You get stuck on a ride, what do you do? And not logjammer.

SPEAKER_02

Oh man, you remember that? Got stuck on logjammer, had to walk, had to walk. Have I been stuck on a ride before?

SPEAKER_01

People get stuck so much right now, and maybe it's just the new cut news coverage about it, but they're always in the worst situations, which is also why I don't fuck with roller coasters. Like anybody know my luck?

SPEAKER_02

It's that like when they get caught like in the loop, like and everybody's hanging upside down. You're like, why could you not have waited?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Dangling over the Gulf of fucking Mexico. Like, what are we talking about?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. I would just die.

SPEAKER_02

You know, you know, not gonna lie though, that I think that I think that helps with the aesthetic with Cedar Point because it's literally right there on the lake. And it's really cool. Yeah, it's really cool when you go up on these roller coasters, you just look out and all you see is water. It's so cool. It is one of the coolest things ever.

SPEAKER_01

Chris hit the nail on the head. People with anxiety. People with anxiety.

SPEAKER_02

People with anxiety canola. Because they can't see land to the land. That's crazy. But no, that would be my that would be my idea, right? Like I would like to see that come to life as part of a theme park. Okay, does anybody have anything that they want to add to that? Do they have something that they could possibly think of as a theme park?

SPEAKER_01

What can I think of as a theme park?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, like like can you think of anything that like like something that you could theme inside of Disney World or a theme park on it all on its own? Because I feel like something like this, right, back here, one of my favorite animes, could easily become part of like make its own theme park. I think they've thought about opening one, I'm not sure. Because you could easily, it would probably be successful, very successful. You could easily do something of like a like a Shenron kind of kind of ride where it's like the dragon, but it's super long and it goes throughout the whole. I'm saying it's just it's here, it's already there.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, has anybody has anybody seen the movie Elemental from Disney?

SPEAKER_03

Uh have I?

SPEAKER_01

Maybe it's an adorable little movie, and it's about the elements, and they're all in the style. Yes, yes, yes, I have. That would be the coolest experience, and I feel like it'd be super educational too. Like it would be dope. I can imagine you could have like a water ride, like something that like does something with air, like uh it would be fire, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Avatar last airbender would make a good theme park.

SPEAKER_01

They've had to have done an avatar. I don't think they have section.

SPEAKER_03

I don't think they have they've done avatar the like blue people.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, they've done that one, but they've seen them. Yeah, they've not done that.

SPEAKER_01

I don't know fuck shit about avatar. Let me start there.

SPEAKER_02

Which one? That's fair. The blue people or or or Aang.

SPEAKER_03

She's like they've done the live action slash CGI one with like Mr. Grooney Weaver. Yeah. They did that. That actually is a really good theme uh section of Disney. The ride on that one, dude.

SPEAKER_02

The one with the blue people, by the way.

SPEAKER_00

Which I can see. So, like, are we talking about something different? Because like I feel so lost.

SPEAKER_03

So there's Avatar, help me, like the James Cameron Avatar. Okay, there's Avatar Last Airbender, which is the one.

SPEAKER_01

Are does it have anything to do? Does it intersect at all with Avatar?

SPEAKER_03

No, Avatar and then Avatar Last Airbender.

SPEAKER_02

They're two totally different things.

SPEAKER_01

Why the fuck would they do that?

SPEAKER_02

Because why not? Because why not? Yeah, ask James Cameron, ask him. Get all the phone.

SPEAKER_06

What came first?

SPEAKER_02

Uh Avatar the Last Airbender. The last airbender.

SPEAKER_03

I think the word came first.

SPEAKER_02

That's actually crazy.

SPEAKER_03

Piloting something. Actually crazy.

SPEAKER_02

But I think the last airbender came first. Then again, I don't know. Some last longer than others.

SPEAKER_01

There we go.

SPEAKER_02

Wait.

SPEAKER_01

We're back here. Okay, we've arrived.

SPEAKER_02

We're the joke. Full circle. And I don't mean the jerky kind.

SPEAKER_01

Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Okay. The joke's right there. We made it back.

SPEAKER_02

We made it back here. After a long, arduous journey, we made it back here.

SPEAKER_03

Sometimes it takes a while to get there. It takes a little while.

SPEAKER_02

It takes a little while. We took the scenic route. We took the Disney World scenic route. That's all we did. The important thing is we got there. We got there. It's about how you finish, not how you start. I need to stop. Hell yeah, brother. I need to stop. But I do love the idea of an elemental themed type deal. Because they could easily do like uh I'm thinking of also like the foods they could do. Like for the air, you could really do like like really do focus, like fluffy cotton candy, right? Like you could really like make airy, you know what I mean? Like really airy stuff. And then for water, you could re I don't know, just do drinks, those are drinks. Yeah, drinks, slushies, whatever, and make some really interesting flavors.

SPEAKER_01

And then for the fire rush, yes, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, like I could, I could see, I could get behind that.

SPEAKER_01

They had these charcoal nuts, like in the in the movie.

SPEAKER_02

They could have like right, and you could do that from because that was that was um uh uh uh the fire oh fire girl and her dad. They were making those, right? Like that. See, so you could easily do that in that in that kind of theme park. Like you could easily just like okay, this is what they're making, blah blah blah. I love that movie.

SPEAKER_01

I'm gonna watch that.

SPEAKER_02

It's really good. I did it is it is turn on right now. Damn, it's pretty well. She said, it's 1240. I'm gonna watch it right now.

SPEAKER_01

It's pretty well. What are we talking about? There's nothing stopping me.

SPEAKER_02

You're not wrong. But Grizz, do you have one or are you kind of more like at a last airbender?

SPEAKER_03

I think I'm gonna leave on a car last airbender.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_03

I mean, it's give it a good go. Uh let me think. Give me two seconds.

SPEAKER_02

She said I don't know the difference. I mean, it's just so we're clear, just so we're clear. I don't think so. That would be a bro.

SPEAKER_01

I don't think so. Ninja, go, Ninja, go. Yeah, that would be so much fun, actually.

SPEAKER_02

Yo, could you imagine? Yeah, dude. Oh my god, and just selling just selling pizza and just selling pizza everywhere. Dude, all the pizza. You know what else would make a good one? Stranger pizza pizza. Breakfast pizza. Stranger Things would be a fantastic

Ninja Turtles Rides And Reality Check

SPEAKER_02

theme park. But honestly, egg goes everywhere. Everything I'm more I'm more turtles than anything, because what the turtles are.

SPEAKER_03

Because you could do a ride, you could do a ride for each one. Right. That's already four rides. That's four rides immediately. Yeah, splitter, the rat, and then shut up. And then you could do shredder themed rides. A diss.

SPEAKER_01

It felt like a slur. It honestly did.

SPEAKER_02

He said it with a hard R too. The rat.

SPEAKER_03

That's crazy.

SPEAKER_02

Leave Splinter alone, bro. He's just trying to teach his kids.

SPEAKER_03

This somehow feels like a hate crime.

SPEAKER_02

The fuck, Grizz. He's just trying to raise his kids. That's all he's trying to do.

SPEAKER_06

I forgot his way.

SPEAKER_01

If you count the rat.

SPEAKER_00

It felt real tough.

SPEAKER_02

Grizz had a real freezer moment just now. If you count the rat.

SPEAKER_00

Oh my god. Like, come on, brother.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. He was a good dude, man. He was a good dude.

SPEAKER_02

I know. Here's the thing. Here's the thing. Those are it's like that's it, that's their stepdad. You know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_01

Like he raised kids that want them in his no responsibility for them. Exactly.

SPEAKER_02

He just found some turtles. Right. He just found some turtles. Said, yo, these these guys, I bet, could be some serious ninjas. Check this shit out. Let me teach them the ways.

SPEAKER_01

And they stressed him the fuck out all the time.

SPEAKER_02

Especially Michelangelo. Michelangelo and Raphael, I feel like were like the most of a handful, because Rafael just always getting in trouble getting into a fight. And Michelangelo, yeah, always mad, always angry. And then Michelangelo just can't take shit seriously.

SPEAKER_03

Michelangelo has ADHD and Rafael has uh anger issues.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, he has anger issues. Donnie and Leo are like somewhat normal. I feel like Donnie's just OCD, and Leo is just kind of like, you know, he's just there.

SPEAKER_03

Depending on which version of Leo we're talking about. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Because like like they are vastly different.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, because like there is the self-confidence version where he like struggles with leadership. And then there's when he like can grow into himself, then he's vastly different. Yep, yep. Uh, and then Donnie's just like the nerd.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Big old nerd. Shut up, nerd. Shut up nerd. Shut up, nerd. You killed the rat.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, good luck letting that one go.

SPEAKER_02

Never living that one down. I mean, you can you could do one for Shredder, you know what I mean? You can do it, you can do one for the Foot Clan. April. Yeah, April O'Neal. Oh, wouldn't that be dope? See, and again, and again, I feel like that could lean into like a 4D ride because you could be okay, everybody load into the news van. We're gonna take a ride in, you know, with April O'Neal, and you're gonna get an inside scoop of what it's like to be a news reporter, and just that day just goes totally awry. Like you get chased by the Foot and shredder, bro. I'm telling you, somebody's gonna listen to this episode, they're gonna be like, that's a great fucking idea. Let's start making it right now.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, let's start making it right now. You could have a part of the park, a part of the park, you go into the sewer system.

SPEAKER_02

I'm telling you, you know, like I'm telling you. It'd be it'd be it'd be it'd be fun. Like that would be a fun theme. That'd be a fun theme park. It honestly would be. So I think we all got some pretty good ideas out here. I wish Templeton was with us to share his ideas. What'd you say? Churros?

SPEAKER_01

Who owns the turtles?

SPEAKER_03

Nobody owns them, they're their own free creatures.

SPEAKER_02

Damn, oh damn. If you count the rat. Damn.

SPEAKER_03

Fuck. I tried to dig out.

SPEAKER_02

No, you did. You did. I'm gonna find out right now. Hang on. Um Paramount. Paramount global. They are owned by Paramount. So I think Paramount could be that. This has to exist. Yeah, I would think so, but I don't know. I don't know. Google if there's a turtles theme park.

SPEAKER_03

There might be a turtles ride, themed ride.

SPEAKER_02

I would I I would hope that nope, there is not a standalone theme park dedicated solely to teenage mutant ninja turtles. But you can find massive dedicated shell-shocked areas and record and record-breaking attractions inside Nickelodeon Universe theme parks. So I guess if you go there.

SPEAKER_01

It's giving like a world, like a ninja turtle world.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, because the it says the ultimate TMNT experience is located at the American Dream Mall in East Rutherford, New Jersey, just outside New York City. This massive New Jersey. Right. This massive indoor park features TMNT's Shell Razor, which is the steepest roller coaster in the world, featuring a terrifying 121.5 degree drop. Jesus Christ.

SPEAKER_01

I'm so happy I asked this question.

SPEAKER_02

The Shredder, which is the world's tallest and longest free spinning coaster. Shell Shock, a high flying ride where you control free spinning. Uh I don't want to go back to that. I have no idea. And then Shell Shock, which is a high flying ride where you control your own glider, and then character meet and greets, daily opportunities to meet Leonardo, Rafael, Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo in person. We should go. I would like to. Can we go? Can we carry? Can we record an episode there and write it in? From where? How far is that from Boston? Uh we'll find out.

SPEAKER_03

Sounds like it's closer to New York City, though. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I don't know anything about that. That means nothing to me.

SPEAKER_02

So it's a three and a half hour trip from Boston.

SPEAKER_01

I'm gonna be up in Boston like in two weeks for a weekend.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, I mean, if if you want to take if you want to take a three and a half hour trip over to Rutherford and New Jersey and find that Teenage Mun Ninja Turtle themed indoor park.

SPEAKER_01

So I could fly in a day early. You could. And then suddenly here I am in another theme.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, no shit. You're just hitting all the theme parks everywhere. I'll be I'd be kind of jealous. Look it off the box. Listen, listen, she's not getting on the rides, though. Oh shot. She didn't get on the ride. Yeah, but let's go back to the free spin one because what a wasted wasted trip that would be. She's like, yeah, I went there. I stood outside. How about that? How about that? That's fucking crazy. I don't know. That's something I'm gonna have to Google, see what see what a free spinning coaster is. I don't know what that I don't know what that means. Does that sound awful? It's it sounds intriguing, honestly. Like, do we just sound liberating? Yeah, are we just hanging there and it just goes wee liberating and a roller coaster? Don't go hand in hand. No, no, they don't go hand in hand.

Yeah, if you go, if you wherever you listen to it, if you listen to it on iHeart or obviously Buzz Sprout or Spotify, um, right where where the I think it's like right at the very top of the description, uh, it says text us here. Yo, that would be now that would be a funny. I bet you won't. Bet you won't.

SPEAKER_03

No balls. No balls. It's fine if you don't want to. Yeah, yeah. I'd be afraid too.

SPEAKER_02

Listen to Grizz. Oh, I'd bitch out too if I were you. I'm just kidding. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. For the joke. So, anyway, feel free, text us, let us know. Um, before we go any further, I think it's high time that Grizz gave us little something.

SPEAKER_03

Have you guys ever gone to a theme park and thought it was going to be an amusement park? Or is that just me? Hmm. You know?

SPEAKER_02

I

Coney Island Letdown Stories

SPEAKER_02

am stuck. I I I feel like I f okay, so to be fair, I feel like the first time we went to Coney Island, I felt like it was gonna be bigger than what it was. I honestly did. I thought when we first went to Coney Island, I thought it was gonna be bigger than what it was, and the only attraction that was there was the big ass pool, which they now have shut down, which kind of sucks.

SPEAKER_03

Which is like the whole point of going the whole point of going to Coney Island.

SPEAKER_02

Does it even exist anymore?

SPEAKER_01

County fair.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I I think I think Coney Island doesn't exist anymore. What'd you say, Miss Mr.

SPEAKER_01

It's not real? Coney Island is a county fair.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, yeah, like a permanent county fair, yes.

SPEAKER_01

It's a permanent county fair.

SPEAKER_02

Because it's like the rides they had there, they felt like you know, the pop-up fair right.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Little hills. Yeah, and then like I said, the only the only real attraction there was the fucking extra extra large, extra large Olympic-sized swimming pool that they had. That the last time we went, it was it was me, Yeti, our buddy Pat, and I believe Mrs. Yeti also went. Um, they had the big old like uh obstacle course, and we ran that. It was a lot of fun. It was a good time. We were actually we were dog tired, but I remember like when we first jumped in that pool, we probably all all three of us probably are all almost drowned because we jumped into we jumped into the deep end and we s we swam from the deep end over, and it was funny because it's like we'd swim, swim, swim, swim, swim, and then we'd like stop. And nope, feet still aren't touching. Swim, swim, swim, swim, swim. We're like, feet still aren't touching. We're like, we're getting fucking tired. Yeah. So we made it, obviously.

SPEAKER_03

But they had a diving board too, didn't they?

SPEAKER_02

They they did, but when we went, those diving boards were no longer there. So I don't know if they were knew that they were gonna close, but honestly, yeah, I I would say the very first time I went to Coney Island because people talked about Coney Island all the time when we were younger, like it was some fucking great thing. And I was just like, I don't know. I you know, I've never been, you know, and and and our mom, obviously, back in the day, she always had those company picnics there or whatever it was. Oh shit, yeah. So she would she would take us because you know, summer break, we're we're we're in school, we're off for the summer. She's like, You guys come with us. Okay, so we went, and it's like we got there, and we're like, what the fuck is this? I think we would have had more fun staying at home, honestly.

SPEAKER_01

Damn, corny, lame. Yeah, that's actually the worst amusement park I've ever been to.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I think we called it corny island. We did with like after like the first or second time we went, we're like, that's corny island, because there's really nothing there except for the pool. That's it.

SPEAKER_01

You just walk around. That's all you ever did. That's all you did.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Yeah, it was the lame it was the lamest fucking park ever. But I mean, I I get that it was a staple because of Sunlight Pool, but now it's gone. Now they I think they just utilize it for like uh concerts and shit. Yeah, yeah, parking. Uh what is it, riverbend that's down there? Yeah. Well, aren't they redoing that?

SPEAKER_01

I think they're doing something down there. I don't remember what they said it was.

SPEAKER_02

They are. Can you imagine they're just rebuilding Coney Island?

unknown

Huh?

SPEAKER_02

They said, how can we waste our money this time? Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

So we're gonna call it Boney Island.

SPEAKER_02

Bony Island. And we're gonna have a lot of bones. There's gonna be skeletons everywhere.

SPEAKER_00

What?

SPEAKER_02

Oh, can you imagine a skeleton theme park? Actually. What how about you, Morty? Would you like to ride the bone train? Why are you doing this bit? We're gonna die. Anywho. I have a really good idea. Anatomy park. Anatomy park. Nice. So they're building a whole amusement park inside me. Oh, they're building a piece of shit, Ethan. They're building a huge monument to compromise.

SPEAKER_03

Would the entrance be the mouth?

SPEAKER_02

Yes. And the exit would be the anus. Or hear me out. The entrance being the anus any.

SPEAKER_03

Well, that's a different type of anatomy park if you ask me.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, all I all I know is I want to ride Pirates of the Pancreas.

SPEAKER_06

Amen, brother.

SPEAKER_02

And we asked ourselves, what does a pancreas do? Anyway, moving on. Who who wants some fun and games?

SPEAKER_05

Always. Always.

SPEAKER_02

Always.

Sam Jackson Versus Fishburne

SPEAKER_02

So I'm going to ask this question right her. And I think y'all might like it. I want to know who, in your opinion, has the stronger filmography. I'm gonna give you two actors, and I'm gonna give you a quick list of their movies, and amongst the movies that I list to you, tell me who had the stronger uh filmography. Okay? We have Samuel Jackson versus Lawrence Fishburne. Alright. So here's the here are the films that are that that we're gonna list. So for Sam Jackson, we got Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Django Unchained, A Time to Kill, The Hateful Late, Jurassic Park, Die Hard with a Vengeance, and Unbreakable. For Lawrence Fishburne, we have The Matrix, Boys in the Hood, Deep Cover, What's Love Got to Do With It, King of New York, Event Horizon, School of Days, Searching for Bobby Fisher. That's your listing.

SPEAKER_01

It's Sammy Boy. It's Sammy Boy.

SPEAKER_02

Really?

SPEAKER_01

It's Sammy Boy.

SPEAKER_02

Out of that list, who had the stronger filmography out of that list?

SPEAKER_01

The movies wouldn't stand without Samuel. And outside of like a few for Lawrence Freshburn, they could stand on their own.

SPEAKER_03

Like okay, that's fair. That's fair. I do think that Sam's list of movies is more stacked for sure. With or with with with or without Sam Jackson. But I do think he makes most of those movies.

SPEAKER_02

Yes. I do, I I will, I will agree, especially on uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh oh my god the hateful eight The Matrix is pretty good, the Matrix is strong, the Matrix is strong, but that's like the strongest I don't know, Event Horizon. He did pretty well in Event Horizon.

SPEAKER_03

I don't know if I've seen that though. That's my fault. Really? No, but him as Ike Turner.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, what's love got to do with it?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, uh that's one of my favorite movies. Yeah, no disrespect to Lauren Fishman. You know his daughter is a porn star?

SPEAKER_02

I did not know that. Um what's her name? Just for you're gonna have to Google it.

SPEAKER_03

No, no, no, I don't remember that. Asking for a friend.

unknown

Research.

SPEAKER_01

You're gonna have to get that on your private tab.

SPEAKER_02

I'm writing a research paper. That's all I'm doing.

SPEAKER_01

Private tab incognito mode.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Absolutely. I will say though, I will say though, I do have to agree with this list of films, I'd have to lean towards Sam Jackson. Do not with uh as Miss Meeseek said, no disrespect to Lawrence Fishburne because uh because they they listed there, they said no Marvel, no Star Wars, no John Wick. So I was like, mmm, that's tough because Yeah, that's tough. You know what I mean? That just kind of just automatically eliminates Lawrence Fishburne, like yeah, undoubtedly. So I was like, that kind of sucks. But The Matrix, strong Boys in the Hood, What's Love Got to Do with It? Uh uh Event Horizon was actually one of my favorite movies. Uh um Grizz, if you haven't seen it, it's with him and Sam Neal, and it's actually it's a great horror movie, honestly.

SPEAKER_03

It's a I need I need to watch it. It's a great horror movie.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, you I think I think you'll I think you would enjoy that. And Searching for Bobby Fisher was one of my favorite movies. I think I watched that quite a bit. If I if I recall whenever it came on, like on on uh whatever the fuck it was, Cinemax or whatever the fuck, HBO. One of those movie channels.

SPEAKER_01

I would I always watch it.

SPEAKER_02

What's that?

SPEAKER_01

It's called Max now, isn't it?

SPEAKER_02

Uh HBO Max.

SPEAKER_01

Oh no, so it's Cinemax?

SPEAKER_02

I have no idea. Uh I think I think they're still I think they're still around. Um, I think you can find them. I think they're still on like uh standard cable, but like as far as like streaming max. Yes, skinemax after dark. Yeah. Ah yeah, yeah. Oh yeah, I remember that. Very influential on my life. Yeah, I remember that. But yeah, sit Cinemax because I yeah, I thought it was HBO Max. They then they went to just Max, and I think a lot of people bitched about it, and that's why they went back to HBO Max, because they were like, Why the fuck would you do that? I don't understand.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I thought they were Cinemax. I forgot they existed.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, they were trying to they were trying to be cool and be like, we're Max now, and everyone's like, No, the fuck you're not. No, you're not.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, go back.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, go good.

SPEAKER_01

I love how we bully companies. We got the Mexican.

SPEAKER_03

I wish we could bully Twitter to like the snacking axe.

SPEAKER_01

The snack wrap, amen.

SPEAKER_02

I don't think you're gonna be able to bully Elon Musk, though. I don't think you're gonna be able to do it.

SPEAKER_03

It's hard to bully a bullier, you know.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Especially especially a bullier with that much money. He's he's you're not you're not gonna make it happen. You're not gonna change his mind. You're not gonna do it. Nah. Ain't gonna happen. So, anyway, it ain't gonna happen. Yeah, it ain't it ain't gonna happen. Sorry, it ain't gonna happen. So there you go. Let us know what you think who had the stronger uh filmography list, Sam Jackson or Lawrence Fishburne. Again, no disrespect to Lawrence Fishburne, but out of that list, Sam Jackson take the cake, man. Every movie on that list was I was like, damn, every movie was good. Every movie was fucking good. But also to Gris's uh uh to Grizz's point as well, every movie on that list was stacked with actors. Yes, that's fucking it's a stacked actor.

SPEAKER_03

It's like it's it's it's it it's just not fair.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, honestly, it wasn't. It wasn't fair. I mean Jurassic Park.

SPEAKER_01

Every quote from every movie is the Samuel Jackson quote that comes up first for me. English motherfucker, do you speak?

SPEAKER_00

Like every single one.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, even even Jurassic Park, hold on to your butts. I say that all the time. Uh yeah, I don't think anybody ever catches the Jurassic Park reference, though, because they're like, what are you talking about? Why are you saying hold on to your butts? I'm like, you know what? Don't worry about it. Never mind. This is why you probably disappointed your parents growing up. I'm sorry, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. It was tough for the joke. Alright,

Orca Fashion And Dolphin Chaos

SPEAKER_02

so before we wrap this up, does anybody want a fun fact?

SPEAKER_03

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

No. And what a great fun fact we have here because we talked about SeaWorld, that orcas wear other animals as hats.

SPEAKER_03

Really? Dude, I fuck with orcas. I want to get an orca tattoo. Okay, so let's dive into this.

SPEAKER_02

No pun intended. There's no way that this was what you had. Uh yes, swear to god. Swear to god. That's why I was like, wow, how did we do this? So just like our theme parks, this whole episode had a theme. It's almost as if it was it was the stars exactly, the stars were lying. So, yes, dolphins and orcas are now using other animals as toys and hats. So, who needs a ball when you have a puffer fish to hand? Don't they get half a puffer fish? They do, dolphins do. So, dolphins have been observed. Dolphins are basically us in the water. Yeah, basically. But dolphins have been observed on various occasions holding puffer fish in their mouths. The terrified fish soon inflate with seawater until they look like a spiky tennis ball, which the dolphins then pass around and toss into the air. This could be a game, part of the dolphin's repertoire of naturally playful behaviors, but marine mammal experts aren't sure what's going on. Maybe younger dolphins are practicing their echolocation skills, finding pufferfish hiding on the seabed, and then playing with them like a cat taunts a mouse. However, it's clear the dolphins know not to eat the pufferfish, which are full of a deadly chemical called tetradotoxin. If the marine mammals were planning to eat them, they would eventually tire of playing and tear into their prey. Instead, they hold the pufferfish quite gently in their mouths without crushing them. Another possible explanation is that dolphins are deliberately getting high on the noxious chemicals that waft out of the pufferfish. Their game may really be an excuse to experience a mild narcotic effect. Dolphins also have a habit of flinging octopuses. This has a practical benefit of killing the octopus before the dolphin tries to eat it, thus avoiding the danger of being choked by hundreds of suckers clinging to the inside of the dolphin's throat. Whoa. Some animal-on-animal games, however, remain baffling. Orcas are known for their intelligence and playful social behaviors. For a while in the 1980s, an orca pod off Washington State, Grizz, on the north on the northwest coast of America, started to carry dead salmon around on their heads. The behavior began with one female and spread to others in the pod. The trend that had disappeared. The trend that had disappeared by 1988, but re-emerged in 2024 when dead fish hats once again became the height of orca fashion. Perhaps the orcas are carrying snacks for later, or maybe it's a game with rules we don't yet understand. So there you go. So interesting. Dolphins throw octopuses.

SPEAKER_01

Dolphins are dicks. Dolphins are dicks, and people need to spread the word about it. I have a dolphin tattoo and I might get a covered up, or I might put dolphins or dick and put an arrow next to it.

SPEAKER_02

Dolphins are dicks, and then change. It into a similarly phallic-shaped object.

SPEAKER_01

Have one coming off of it.

SPEAKER_02

So there you go. Dolphins are dicks. Yeah, and apparently orcas wear dead salmonist hats. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know.

SPEAKER_01

I'm convinced it's something. I don't know.

SPEAKER_02

They're they're smart. Yeah, they're all they're all smart. They're smart. They're smart motherfuckers.

SPEAKER_01

Where are you gonna put it? How big is this gonna be? I need to know more.

SPEAKER_03

I'm running out of space. Maybe okay, hear me out.

SPEAKER_01

I have a really good idea, actually. I could do a count of three, let's say it. Oh.

SPEAKER_02

Can I say mine? Ready? One, two, three. Penis.

SPEAKER_03

I don't know how big you think I am to get an orchid tattoo.

SPEAKER_02

He's like, that's actually that's a puffer fish.

SPEAKER_03

That my friend, have you heard of the puffin bird?

SPEAKER_02

That's a guppy. What are you? So fucking stupid I think it's past my bedtime as well. Anyway, Chris, I I support you getting an orca tattoo. Or a dolphin tattoo. Wherever whatever you want to get. Get get a you know what? Get a tattoo of a dolphin throwing an octopus.

SPEAKER_03

What if, hear me out. I get a dolphin tattoo on my left thigh.

SPEAKER_02

Left thigh.

SPEAKER_03

And an orca tattoo on my right thigh. And somewhere in between there's a a a salmon or an octopus or a puffin'.

SPEAKER_01

I mean really hold on. There is. Uh oh.

SPEAKER_03

Dick and bone.

SPEAKER_01

I gotta move on.

SPEAKER_03

And they're just tossing it back and forth.

SPEAKER_02

Because here's the thing. Listen, listen, because you could you could do like your ball sack as the head of the as the head of the octopus. We gotta stop. We have to be stopped.

SPEAKER_03

It's exercising free will.

SPEAKER_02

The right way. The correct way.

SPEAKER_01

I hate that our visuals are in line. Our visuals were there. We get it. We understand. We're seeing the vision. Oh my god.

SPEAKER_02

We gotta chill.

Wrap Up Promos And Listener Shoutouts

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I think that's our cue to wrap this up and put a pretty little bow on it because it is it's getting late for us. I'm sure Grizz probably needs to eat or something.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, it is 10 p.m.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. See, he need he needs to get some food. We need to get some sleep. Honestly, do we though? Because tomorrow's Saturday. Tomorrow is Saturday. It's Saturday. It's Saturday. Anyway. Join us in a week, technically. We'll talk about something. Yeah, we'll talk about something. Because, you know, we moved we moved the episode, unfortunately. Just in case, for those that you uh those of you that didn't know, we did move the episode, so we apologize, but you know, we're here. I promise. We're getting it done for you.

SPEAKER_01
